  1. Got it to work. Turns out I was putting the incorrect local ip address in the router when I forwarded the ports. Server shows on Internet tab now
  2. Hmmm, I tried that first and it did not crash on me, but it only appeared in the LAN list, not the internet list.
  3. Thanks Sklo. I decided to try it from my PC first to see if I could get it to run publicly. I've read everything I can find on port forwarding, etc, but my server isn't appearing in the internet list. In fact, it simply crashes a short time after I click "Start Server". I've read posts with similar issues, but can't seem to get this to work. The logs show a "INFO: Shutting down the server - reason: Problem running the server - Cannot assign requested address: bind" message, so I assume the problem is the IP address I am putting in. The external IP I'm using in the local server tab is the one I see when I go to whatismyipaddress.com. I have the ports forwarded in my router, and windows firewall is configured to allow wurm (client and server) to connect. Any ideas?
  4. Thanks. My host does allow game servers, but referred me to Wurm Unlimited documentation regarding how to install it, which is what I am unable to find. Is there any documentation regarding installing to a host server rather than local?
  5. Hmmm, and if I had a dedicated IP address for my server on my host? I'm trying to avoid running it from my PC and having to leave my PC on constantly or lag the server when I'm running other software.
  6. Hello. Not sure if this the correct forum for this, but I have been searching for quite some time for instructions for setting up a public wurm unlimited server on my domain rather than on my PC. Can someone point me in the right direction if it's possible to host on your own domain?
  7. Hi all! I'm very very new to Wurm Online and I'm very excited to try it. I'm currently about to leave the tutorial. I'm going Xanadu, but is there a settlement to choose that's a good choice for a new player? Or does it really matter? Thanks!!
