  1. Nah I didn't think you were being a jerk. I'm familiar with who you are in the mod world. Just trying to figure out these traders, I'll have to play around with them some.
  2. We had traders and temporarily removed them because a small group of people were making 10 silver a day and keeping them drained by selling only cotton to them. We want to have traders in the game at the starter deeds and PMK's, but don't want them to be such an easy source of income. What settings can we play with to minimise their gain?

  4. I'm a SQL person so having to use MySQL is not far off from where I am. I'm using SqlLite Browser and so far I've only been able to open a single game database at a time. How do I open up multiple ones to do some joins etc? Also are these game databases "live" meaning if I make a change it takes effect in game or would it require a server restart?
  5. I'm trying to avoid making a Freedom Starter Deed to teleport people to from PVE to PVP. Is it possible to have them join a kingdom when the go through the portal? ** Trying to avoid making a Freedom Deed on PVP. PVE will still have a freedom isles deed.
  6. I liked the land mass, but I'll wait to hear more feedback on what the community thinks. I do agree with the tree now that it is pointed out and seeing it in game. I'll add lots and lots of trees. I tend to agree with the land mass, I like the shape and feel, but will also wait to hear more feedback before changing that part of it. I will for sure be adding trees, about diversity. We have every kind of tree in patches some mixed, but not alot of them mixing. Do you want to see forests with many different kinds of trees? We plan to eventually have a large PVP community, would 200 people fit well in a 1024 map? We choose the bigger map for that reason, but now I'm walking around through it it seems very large. If we plan to get 200 players (through paid/unpaid advertising) is 1024 to small or would 4096 be better for that many players? I know it won't happen immediately but have to look at the long term picture too. Tho I suppose we could always open up another server as well. So many options.
  7. Our community is working on a new WU server and have designed this PVP map. Looking for some possible points that could use some changing before we go live with the map. The map size is 4096 x 4096 I'm happy with the overall look of the map land mass wise. Things on my list currently (will add as receive feedback) Clay patches are way too big (almost all of them) No slope exists above 40 currently (that we have found) -- Is this a good or a bad thing? Only way to fix as far as far as I know is to regen the map and redo all of the biomes. Feedback for the map is appreciated http://www.atgaming.net/dev/map -- Interactive live map
  8. Thanks Rakki, it works slightly better. But now she sinks into the ground. Does she need to be at a certain ground height under water? At least now she is still functional after a test, but she just dips half way into the ground. Edit: She is in the water, but after taking the test half of her is out of the water the other half is buried under water/ground.
  9. We just started running a server and every time the lady of the lake test is taken she disappears. Is this how she is supposed to work? Anyway we can make her permanently available?
