  1. The sense of entitlement surrounding runes is insane. Your 'reward' for using them was the same as everyone else who did--you actually had colored weapons years before anybody who didn't. There is no reason anybody should be "reimbursed" for making a conscious decision to make use of game mechanics to their own benefit. This is yet another example of inconsistent mechanics within the game, and it needs remedied. There is no reason why we can paint just about anything, but weapons are somehow sacrosanct. Color runes will still have a purpose in being able to save copious amounts of effort for items that require large amounts of dye. And there is no reason for anything to be required to paint them besides, you know, dye. The thing whose sole purpose in existing is to paint things.
  2. Returning the condescension was the point, because I thought it'd help to get the point across that there's no reason for it. As far as the actual suggestion goes, the "reason behind it" is clear as day in that post--I made sure of it. I'm sure the 5 minutes it'd take to fix would be fine.
  3. Okay, this condescension needs to stop, especially when you're apparently completely ignorant of what is being requested. Let me try to break this down into terms you are capable of understanding--I'll even number the points to make it easier for you to follow along: 1. Toolbelts increase in slots with rarity and with every 10 quality. 2. This increase stops at 10, despite that not at all making sense beyond "HURRR EVEN NUMBER" and is pretty much the definition of an arbitrary decision. 3. 90 quality and supreme isn't an especially unlikely occurrence. 100 quality is also a further potential slot. 4. Making this behavior work consistently is one small stop towards improving the quality and consistency of the game overall. It would even take just a few minutes to implement! 5. "HURRR JUST CHANGE TABS LOL" doesn't address what is being asked for. We're well aware of how it works and shut the ###### up about it already. P.S. it's almost like if you don't want to have more than 10 slots on your screen, you can tweak the quality of your toolbelt. Amazing, right? Who would've ever thought that it could've been so simple!
  4. 5 slots would be "big enough" too. Let's just decrease the cap, since that's the logic we're going by.
  5. Because "hurrrr I don't need it" is totally a great reason to lift a cap that has no reason to exist. By your logic, why even have a cap of 10 over 5 or 6? You obviously don't need it so ###### it, lower it. To Hell with anybody who wants it, right?
  6. +1 to initial suggestion. Removing clutter is a good thing, regardless of existing workarounds.
  7. The view of a lit up wonderland in the distance.
  8. What is this?

"It's not me, it's the trolls!"
  9. What is this?

If you were annoying enough to have irritated 10+ people all at once, you probably deserved it.
  10. Or, follow along with me here, there are a lot of alts and casuals amongst the crowd that you mentioned. We'll see which it is soon.
  11. Wasn't referring to you, which should have been obvious. I was referring strictly to the influx of forum accounts with <50 posts that I've never heard of praising these changes. Meanwhile, just about everybody who has any real presence within the community, game, etc. seems to be ready to pack up and go. By all means though, continue to play. Maybe somehow the population will go up despite at least 50 people (that I'm simply aware of (which is just shy of half the current active population of the game)) pulling out with this change.
  12. Anybody notice that the majority of the same people praising this change are the same people who have some paltry numbers of posts and no presence within the community?
  13. It isn't my argument nor circumstance--there are people who have a minuscule entertainment budget, where those singular dollar differences do make a difference.
  14. This just in: if you're a part of a large community the deed is free. Because obviously that money doesn't need to come from anywhere.
  15. Alright, so $9 to have a massive chunk of the game locked out rather than simply a 'large' part. You're brilliant.
  16. Because math is hard: ~$9 for a single character, on which you are locked out of a large part of the game ~$1.15 for a small deed, on up to roughly $5 for a deed that one would consider reasonably-sized Final Fantasy XIV: $13 World of Warcraft: $15 Elder Scrolls Online: F2P with an option to pay a $15 sub to get the expansions + extra content for free each month Tera: F2P with optional (not required whatsoever) sub of $15 So, with Wurm you pay a subscription each month of between ~$10 and $14 just to be locked out a large segment of the game, compared to other games in the genre that are $13-15 But HERPDERP WURM SO CHEEP LOLOL
