  1. Greetings and Salutations! A highway link has been added between the highway SW of Dunkelfels and the highway running through the desert/tundra farther west through the mountains. Furthermore, the lumpy, bumpy, twisty bit (overlaid in red) through the tundra has been straightened out and the old roadworks removed. Thanks!
  2. Apologies for the delay in replying, I've mostly been away from the game for a couple weeks. Are you looking for a tall banner or regular kingdom banner? Prices would be 7.5s for tall, 5s for regular. Cheers, thanks for the inquiry.
  3. Appreciate the effort and the update. Really looking forward to the new terrain graphics. I really think it'll make wurm feel even more alive in the foreground of play. Hopefully long-distance graphics and be tweaked in the future for greater fidelity, but that's a stretch wish of mine.
  4. Allow quenching of items on ground tiles touching water. Also, make quenching faster. It's kind of ridiculous how slowly it takes, imo.
  5. Hiya, they aren't mailable sadly. I'm located at J/K 24/25 on Cele if you care to pick them up. Contact me on Fearil in game and we can arrange something. Cheers!
  6. Bearded Huge Axe skin sold. TY!
  7. Thanks for the memories! ❤️
  8. Oh good tip. I'd still like to be able to do it with the right-click menu but I'll add that for sure. Thanks!
  9. Please allow us to clear combat targets when doing actions!
  10. Central Storage Access Within a properly permitted building with properly permitted storage inventories. Have a central ledger (like a pedestal with a book) that you can open to search and access all inventories within a radius, call it 3x3 tiles. I've often felt that the strange ranges (or seemingly strange ranges with desync) on inventories should be a bit more lax, because realism in arm length doesn't really serve to enhance gameplay, especially when your FoV and differences therein between players can make it seem like you have to sit on whatever storage you're trying to access. This would also tie into the searchable inventories that we now have. Searchable Inventory Expansion Make all inventories searchable, period, but especially chests, magical chests, etc, and even amphora.
  11. It makes sense because it gives greater ease of use to a seldom-used shield, and a seldom-used animal product, both loosely related. If you want a technical write-up on how a skull can help reinforce a shield I could probably do that too.
  12. Yes this please. I'd absolutely love that. Less a QoL but definitely would bring some quality to an existing item and use for a mostly useless item (can only decorate with so many skulls and make so many fish hooks and unachievably hard to make cups).
  13. 1, ah ah ah... Having become a convert away from 2.9 recently, I've found the input on both the download and browser versions to be completely fine in my experience. No noticeable issue.
  14. God yes! I rely on this tool so much, can't wait for future updates.
  15. Another highway project done and dusted. Moonjuice and I laboured day and night without sleep, food, water, in the rain, uphill both ways. In the end maybe a picture is worth more than these words.
  16. A prime example of how returning players who had been banned for serious offences could be managed. This, so long as people in power who hold grudges can be mature enough not to invent something sketchy to attribute to returning players. That's part of the idea of amnesty and letting bygones be bygones, imo. Not to mention, people do change, but if they haven't then how hard is it to reapply a ban? I can't imagine it's that hard. For your first part I just want to point out that this isn't letting murders out of prison, it's a video game. I don't think we risk mass law-breaking and total anarchy by changing our minds about a permanent ban becoming temporary. I mean, we could call this parole as well for sake of discussion, rather than a full-on amnesty. Plus I think: why not have punishment fit the crime, instead of everyone getting the death penalty? Still, not a bad suggestion in the latter part. If it WAS that bad of an infraction, then losing the toon might be the appropriate penalty.
  17. Feel free to ask, I'm not the one with answers, but it's a good place to start discussion. Ultimately though I think that's for the product manager to determine. Honestly, my thought is that these questions don't really contribute to the discussion at all, it just seems like obtuseness for obtuseness sake. Do you have your own comments to your own questions? Would love to read them, rather than just telegraphing that it's a complicated issue, maybe help come up with some guidelines that you think would be fair. However, "Who will watches the watchers?" is definitely at the heart of the issue overall. Some enforcement of game rules, not restricted to banning here, has been completely for the sake of personal attacks and grudges. So, yeah, our watchers definitely need watching, hence the discussion of greater transparency from volunteer staff that many folks have asked for repeatedly year after year. Ultimately if staff fails in this, then confidence in the game drops. Thanks for discussing folks. 💯
  18. Ok, so not BLANKET, and forgive me for being devil's advocate. The idea comes down to the bottom line, and some perceived inconsistency with regard to permabans. Some people have, straight up, been banned for small infractions (real or imagined) and others, rightfully so, for larger infractions. I don't think it's the most radical idea, given Wurm's financial situation, to unban players who have not committed the most major of infractions, and give them another chance. In some cases we will regain some fanatical wurm fans who truly enjoy the game and invest in it. Count their time banned as time served, and move on. From an observer of Wurm for many, many years, often it seems that some of these bans are the result of somewhat nebulous perceptions of rule breaking. With a new era of Wurm dawning, perhaps we can give those not convicted of the most heinous offences a fresh start. Will this fix the financial situation itself? Unlikely, but every bit counts, right? Prem and deeds helps Wurm survive, so lets get more players, whichever way we can, if the risk is low. Cheers, and please tamp the flames down before you post your gut reaction.
