-1 I would be really concerned about painting bridges being a thing, because ... well, imagine you have a bridge near your place and someone would decide to paint it a very unnatural ugly looking color like neon-pink or violet or neon green. And you would have to look at it if you want or not. Bridges are visible long distances and can destroy the look of a whole landscape. If people paint their deeds in strange colors well, you can always plant some high trees between you and your neighbor's place but not so with bridges.

Nice old posts you brought back. I don't think in servers when I think about places I like in Wurm, I think about areas of different servers I used to virtually exist. There are areas at very north and very south Xanadu, North Independence, West Release and my Island on Pristine and the area around it, who I feel like I really was there, I have memories there. But more than that I met people in Wurm who overwhelmed me with kindness and helpfulness, which I will remember always when I think about Wurm as a game. I think most people grow a little attachment or sentimentality when they had a deed in one area and they come back after some time and see this place again. That happens with me and I tend to travel back to all the places I once settled (which were a lot) sometimes. Sometimes it's sad to see an area that was once full of deeds now as flat paved empty areas with some leftover bulk containers.

A new rug design that is very plain and dyable, that would allow us to put more of them together would be nice, so we could create own floors with different colored carpets and could do things like red carpet walk ways or or...

For the feel of community and people around I would suggest to search for one of the more active alliances. If you are in a nice alliance and maybe not on the biggest server in a lonely area, you have always some people around to chat with or hunt together. Or you go to rifts and other events where you will always meet people. For me the game feels lively enough, dont miss anything. If you want to sell stuff then its hard, it was hard months ago and still is.

For crops ok, but Trees and grass half under water wouldnt do any harm to the economy and it would just look so much nicer than the dirt tiles. Its just about the look of the waterline. Not grass under water, or trees, just on the tiles that are bendet/ half over half under water.

Hello, I wish we could plant or sow on grounds that are near the waterline without the message the ground is to moist or water to deep if the ground is clearly not under water. Even trees that would grow on a tile that slightly is bended into the water would look really good. It would also look much better to be able to plant grass or reed on the edges to the water (tiles that are half in the water half out of) so that we dont look at those ugly dirt edges anymore. I always try to conceal it with sand... but it would look nice with some grass or moss or reed or kelp. Isnt that something we could get? So two wishes: Ability to plant and sow near water tiles but over the waterline. And ability to plant something on tiles that are partly out of water partly in the water, so have a nicer coastline look. Cheers

Thank you for diversity of wood colors. I only would wish cedar would not be so orange.... because it dominates the game optics now since most freedom wagons are made from cedar for obvious reasons to slow down decay of the inside crates. I also miss the oakenwood texture a lot but I do understand that it would be a lot of extra work to implement the oakenwood or other textures for every wooden item. Maybe a little tweak here and there with all those orange shades would be nice.

Hello Shrimp, I suggest to try it out. Its not WO and Wu are not very different, only the skillgain might be slower on WO but thats not a bad thing. WO has a big community ... they might be spread over all those servers, but you can travel from server to server so there is a lot to explore. And you alwas have a help channel and a global channel, both are be seen on all servers and people are very willing to help new players out. There are also some villages that take players in, to give them a save place and a close community to start out smoothly. For you as experienced WU player its probably quite easy to start WO, even with low skills. I would suggest to choose a smaller server to not get lost in the wide lonely lands of big servers. But thats something someone could argue about ;). Just try it out, its free play until you reach 20 skillpoints... if you want more skillpoints - premium can be bought with 2 silvers for the first time, so not expensive at all. And after that you can choose if you like to spend real money on it. I tried WU also but with WU its always a big hype on a server and then playercounts go lower and lower because people reach their goals to fast and get bored after they finished their deeds... . WO has a lot of players that are there for years.
