As a pvper, it is normal for tower guards to come attack you if you enter perimeter of a deed you are either KOSed on or enemy of. You need to examine tiles to be careful not to step in perimeter if you don't want guard aggro. And yes they continue to chase you off deed. They defend the deed like a templar, and stepping in perimeter triggers their aggro, but they are not bound by the deeds limits. Of the 3 cases you listed at the start, in 2 and 3 a single guard attacks you because you only attacked a single guard, which is normal, but in 1 you triggered KOS mechanics and aggrod all. And yes guards can run through doors and gates and stuff just fine as long as they are same kingdom. Once you get tower guard aggro the only real solution is to continually kill all of the guards (or bait them all to a tile that you have a friend wall them into). This is why people cram as many guard towers into their deeds in pvp as they can, and many people plan their deed sizes to optimize the number of guard towers they can fit. Tower guards are very persistent compared to templars which give up outside perimeter. IIRC they will not pass through enemy minedoors, not sure about same kingdom ones though.

+1 The colors of the twitter accounts actually match the kingdoms now lol. Before when twitter used the default egg icon for the profile pic, the kingdom colors were mixed up, and so with names like epicserv 1,2,3,4 and the wrong color for the server, it was easy to get confused about which one you were looking at

Digging dirt for bones gets you more bones on average than digging for tar would because the dirt you dig can also be sold to buy rare bones, so if you get unlucky for a long time you at least have the dirt to sell

Yea this has been a problem for many years now. One notable cause is if you are on lawful and try to use a keybind to do an action that is disallowed, it will immediately set you as hunted, even though it prevented the action from actually happening.
