  3. Mate I clearly said no negative comments I know what we have in-game most of the things I added in this thread are things for freedom their are no hunting traps in wurm the only traps are for pvp not freedom read the whole thing

Here comes a lot of suggestions from me on this thread all of the ideas I will post are for those that hunt often 1: hunting traps Yeah I know their are traps on epic servers but this is for the freedom servers. I am ashamed that you can't make traps in freedom for animal hunting I mean not all players can take on a powerful mob though they may want the stuff from them lets add pitfall traps, bow traps, net traps,bear traps, etc. etc. 2: more arrow types add a few new arrows that can do some decent damage on animals like barbed arrows, steal arrows, and heavy arrows just to add to the arsenal of the bow cause when I hunt I like to use a bow rather then get close to the creture I am stalking. 3: leather tents, fur tents, and bedrolls These are for those that suspect to be gone for a while to hunt they can be used to gain sleep bonus at a smaller rate then that of a bed but still give some. 4: fur armour Add this and give a better reason to hunt 5: a few new skills taxanomy- to make animals you kill in to trophys this involves cleaning the dead body of the animal this is just one of like 5 hunting skills field dressing- Used to clean the body of a animal you kill to make in to a trophy tracking- used to track a certain animal you are looking for you can find tracks and such when you are hunting animal scent- a skill that you gain wheil tracking as a subskill it will let you get closer without the animal aggroing making the bow hit a bit easyer thanks to being a little closer fur crafting- using pelts you can craft some useful stuff such as fur armour stated above which can give you a extra skill or 2 in animal scent above hunting trap crafting- used to craft the traps you use in the hunt those are the first 5 I will add more at a later date as I think of them and please no negative comments
  6. yeah you can do it yourself but how many people that you know actually grind all the skills relly. I mean you are judging it all the wrong ways if you don't like what I say then don't reply

May I remind you all that their is a economy I for one know that when you get enogh of a skill lvled to a decent lvl you can make some decent coin just by improving and repairing and you can if in a village build a shop in that village and as far as taxing you can do that as well if the village is for it and as far as in-game money that is what silver and copper and gold and even the rare platnum coin is you earn it just like in real life that is all I have to say on this topic

  10. I agree about merging all servers in to 1 big one it will make trading a lot better and you could have competing traders but no epic mobs are important to the epic cluster.

I have along with many others think that hunting is a tad bit boring yeah you get meat and pelts but what if their were a few new things to do when going out and hunting we all ready have camp fires how about add tents and taxidermy and cooking pots and rods to lie over the fire to cook food on. It would be cool to have new stuff you can get from animals you kill and drop more meat well that is my random idea for today at least

  14. I like both ideas it is hard to grind forestry and gardining this adds a better way to skill up

  16. their are catapults in game already you can distroy the fields and walls and then the enamy can't simply go to the farm and harvest if the farm is distroyedrolf can program farms taking damage if hit by a rock shard or better as he codes in colision for the farm he can add balls of rocck and such then a sieage could be possabal.
  17. this I do not like it is hard to get those skills mine is a god idea on the thread read.... this is how it should be starving to death on the epic servers as that is were this player plays most of the time and keep freedom the way it is for new players and those that don't want to worry about starving to death all the time.
  18. hey aurorane remember me from mol rehan server I see this and I understand what you mean I like freedom the way it is but on the epic server I can see this being realistic and even making sence I say add it only to the epic servers and leave a warning in the chose your server area of the tutorial saying that starvation is active on the epic servers that way a siage is a siage the whole point of a siage is to force your enamy to surrender or starve them in to submition so rolf add this to the epic servers keep freedom how it is for new players so they don't have to worry about starving on freedom. and this is all true and would be cool in game as long as freedom remains the same this may also make vetherens of wurm move to epic for a even more challanging game which would help populate the epic servers to which means more cash for rolf to develop the game more. Since I have been typing a while I will end this by saying think about all I have said.
  19. exactly I looked it up to it will add more realism and I like this idea if it isen't op and the amount of weight it can lift should depend on the quality of the crain so it will be balanced and it should be a large project and require a lot of stuff to make.
  20. It would work as long as it required more stuff to carry larger boats or it would be op so as long as their was more work to do it would make sense
  21. read mine it is the true way this should be done if it lifts a bulk storage bin or other container from a large cart or a boat that is fine ,it would be better if it's lift weight was determined via quality ,and mabey over time you can upgrade it with ores and such that you get from mining and it should be a big project like guard towers or the tall statues and require a lot of materials and hard work.
  22. you guys say no but so what it is proven in the past that pully systems were used it would add to the realism which is great for wurm it made it easyer for slaves in anchent egypt build the pyramids. I see no problem with a crane of sorts as long as their are some disadvatages and advantages I like it as long as it is not op.
  23. I think it would be cool for a player to be able to build a caravan house and hitch horses to it and traval around the servers. also a boat house would be cool to. Tents for all those hunters out their that are away from home for wurm days on in. These are just a few ideas for other ways of living in the world of wurm.

  25. +1 it would be a thing you can put on the wall and the graphics show the tools on it I would build a small workshop for my tools good idea hope to see it in the game
