I'm pretty sure this was answered in the opening post. Replacing an enchant has a bonus of +5 (0 power) to +0(100 power). It has no effect otherwise to the cast.

Epic had a different rule set and was all pvp. Comparing how epic was treated to how northern/southern exist is wrong. I fully expect the systems disabled on northern (rifts, moon metals) will be turned on in time when players can handle the events. Any changes to northern will effect southern as well, and probably epic too.

Lately, about once a day, my client will freeze. It has happened on both my pc and my laptop, Usually after long play periods, but once right after logging in. The two systems use different profile settings, different characters. I can still send chat messages, but I can’t see them. I will try to find a log the next time it happens, though it’s not a crash so I’m not sure it’ll help.

The problem with southern cluster isn't the lack of players, but the lack of quality space (excluding Xanadu, which has it's own challenges). The small servers may have 10-20 people playing, but they have hundreds of deeds with a year or more upkeep in them. Either spare deeds, hunting deeds, breeding deeds, or just abandoned, they cover the coasts(the main reason for the new server). So you can choose to deed a cliff on the water, or deed inland, but the old servers don't have acres and acres of prime coast land available either. Deeded land on Melody and Harmony won't become available for at least 2.5 months because of the min 3 month upkeep in deed creation. Far too late for people looking now.

No Idea. It was changed when transfluids were added.

Not a bug. Clay, tar, peat can only be removed with transfluid now. Mining to rock doesn't remove them anymore.

What the "merge the servers" crowd doesn't realize, is half the players on the new cluster have/had deeds and characters already on the old cluster and want the fresh start.

Deeds cost the same north and south.

Encouragement is not forcing. It doesn't imply punishment.

I have made a couple posts over the years as ways to address this. One suggestion was to make mobs on cliffs age very fast, as they tend to get stuck on them. Another was to reverse the north / south pathing each week. They will congregate in the center more, but at least not trapped in remote corners.

With spreading people out, please add a Northern Only Chat tab, Can add a southern only chat tab too.

I got the 2nd copy to work. I do have 1 issue though. If I run the launcher, it's fine. If I run the batch file, it defaults to the original installation, even if it's run from the new folder. It looks like Wurm won't recognize 2 installs anyway. I guess I can make it work, though each copy will have too much data.

Is it possible to mine behind a mine enterance? A | X | O B | T | O C | X | O T = tunnel enterance O = mined out tunnel X = rock walls Can A, B, or C be mined?

Is there a way to reveal the brightness of lamps made of various metals at the same ql? How much more light does a 50ql lamp produce vs a 25ql lamp?

On indy, my crops are always average above my skill, and usually within +2/-1. On Melody, my crops have been anywhere from +10 to -10.
