No not broken, I forgot to take into account that Freedom was being opened up to F2P accounts. Deed holders who run out of premium as far as I am currently aware are still accessible.

Deed holders who run out of premium simply are inaccessible until premium is repaid. the deed will continue as long as it has upkeep.

If it is to be done the same as we do on Golden Valley, you should move your stuff within a week

I am not certain of Rolf's final intentions on that point Lycanthropic, perhaps later perhaps not. The way we will build for existing players to use the tutorial will remove all items in your inventory.

Yes it is true we GM's and PA's have a working tutorial in place and Rolf is getting ready to open it up. New players logging into the game will start the tutorial and at the end will have a choice of Wild (Premium only) or Freedom (Premium or Basic) Existing and older Golden Valley players will not be forcefully moved from GV at this time. You will be granted the opportunity to take the tutorial if you wish to transfer to Freedom as a Basic account. Should existing GV players take the tutorial, you will not be taking any items through it with you. At the end of the tutorial you will receive a new survival starter kit. I recommend putting your coins in the bank! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! The tutorial can and will relieve you of all items and money, and there will be no refund or compensation of any kind. We will build a way for existing GV players to take the tutorial very shortly. Basic (free) accounts will still have the skill cap of 20 in place. Basic accounts may not found deeds on Freedom, but they may join them. Existing GV accounts may still purchase premium and transfer to Freedom or Wild as normal via the portals in New Dawn, First Light, and Glitterdale, and take items in their inventory with them. Some details are subject to change.... but this is the basic information I have at this time.

Threads , Karys, We really appreciate that kind of detail that you and others have given. Some of what you have stated is incidental to the test, but a lot of it we will be able to improve because of the information you have collected on our efforts.

I understand there is much confusion about some of our moderation. Please try to understand that we are attempting a more forgiving moderation. That means that if you are banned even permabanned on your main forum account, we are not going to "witchhunt" you on an alt as long as you follow the rules. However, if you break a rule on that alt we can ban and even permaban that alt and any others you choose to disobey the forum rules.. Yes we can easily IP ban, and more, but that is not our first action.

Please do not jump to conclusions. The Client Devs have been hard at work on improvements and anyone using Jogl should give the new and upcoming clients a try in Lwjgl. It is good to know how many are still using Jogl and the reason for it.

The Kyara status code was created by Greyhound after he discussed it with Rolf sometime in the past. I modified it at Mrbloodworths behest to make it work on the Wurm Online main site page. It can be modified in numerous ways to display all sorts of info ever needed, but Greyhound was kind enough to make it available to us.

I have cleaned this thread several times of personal jabs and name calling. I see you would like a progress update. Basically the progress is going smoothly. Even though we are in the middle of stage 2 we have done much more than just the tutorial scripting. While this process is only going half as fast as I would prefer, there is a lot to do and we keep chipping at it every day. I cannot currently give you a timeline on completion as there are still some mission issues to sort out, but it is an enjoyable task that I look forward to completing as soon as practical.
