  1. /me Starts making lamps. Now exactly where did you say your deed was?
  2. You forgot wood. Those buildings have a frame of massive timbers. Even the archs used timbers until the last stone was inserted at the top. Without the timbers you couldn't build anything higher than one floor that would stand for any time. Even with the timbers there were practical limits to all but the most socially and economically important buildings.
  3. Looking at the sample vid the guy walks kind of funny. Why does his torso not turn in the direction he's travelling? Your torso almost immediately turns to the new direction of travel unless you purposely don't turn it.
  4. You just now saw Pale RIder? Good lord man, have you been in a cave?
  5. Well, someone could conceivably deed over your fences and place your buildings within their perimiter if they wanted to wait a year or more for them to rot away. I think this whole deed system is screwed anyway.
  6. Having seen the screenshots of a very tall building I am now concerned the landscape of all of WURM will be littered with a multitude of 100 floor towers. When multi story was first proposed I envisioned two, maybe three floors. But the screenshot clearly shows a six or more storied building. Please please please Rolf. Don't continue with that insanity. Limit buildings to three floors. Otherwise you get WURM New York City style. That would suck enough to drive people away.

  8. Using a building with arched walls as a gate house is pointless. Even though the only door (the 'gate' door) has a lock applied you can't lock it because the code evident'y recognizes archs as doors. So you get the message that not all doors have locks even though the one and only door does have a lock. Would be great to fix that so you can lock that one and only door.
  9. Nope. Only lag I get is in Wurm and I'm not the only one.
  10. Once again the lag has become horrible to impossible, depending on what you are trying to do. The game is no longer enjoyable.
  11. Rare Guard Towers kind of pulse with a fuzzy glow now. Ok for day time. Would be nice if it were actually visible at night perhaps a brighter light.
  12. Please move Jamestown to U-54 north center of the grid square there. 1219 tiles so should be village. Also tar at Y-56 and Y-54 (at Iron Mountain) And that mountain by WIndstone should be a peak. You can see the whole server from up there. Thanks. Great map BTW.
  13. There's an additional problem to the cave bug. I logged on today to find a Aged Troll had killed off my spirit guard and he was after me. So I simply led him to a cave and I went in. He followed me in. But the game coding does not allow him to follow me out. So now he's safely tucked away in a cave until my spirit guard respawns and finishes him off. Seems kind of silly that npc can go in but are unable to come back out. I will admit that with some effort you may eventually get a mob to follow you out but it shouldn't be so messed up.
  14. It would seem that Tower Guards can be called INTO caves but the cannot be call OUT of caves. Once they are in the cave the don't come out unless they die of old age. It would seem to me that if you can call them in you should also be able to call them out. If they can ignore walls and doors they should also be able to ignore cave boundaries. It would seem they do in only a one way fashion, going in.
