Everyone is very friendly and i really like the feeling of being in a community where everyone help each other and works towards a common goal. Had the exact same problem. Did not crash just relogged. Digging went from 10->1 All other skills was intact.

It's not really an excuse more like stating a fact. Wurm have and so far always had a very small development team.

Hey guys! I played some back in 2009-2011 on indy and kept checking in on wurm after that with out really playing the game. I wanted to make a comeback now with the new steam servers coming up. I have basic knowledge of the game too get me started right away. I am looking for a small/medium size village 5-15 members that preferably (not a must) already are in contact with each other and have some sort of plans for 19.00 CET on the 24th. I am 30+ and live in EU timezone so a village with some or mostly EU-timezone players are preferred. If you got any questions about me let know and i will answer them as best as i can.

I haven't really played in the last couple of years but i logged in to try the new UI, and for me personally it is an huge improvment over the old one. Just wanted to give some postive input.

Okay, it did generate those files but my map had no trees or biomes so i am guessing that i either did something wrong or that it dont work like you think it works. Either way, i decided that i will do the biomes myself, just going to need to put some extra focus in to that.

Wait.. so if i understand you correctly, all i have to do is a heightmap and drop dirt and it fill the biomes and resources by itself? Thats not how it works if thought i understand this whole thing correct.

Hey there! I am making my own map for a upcoming server/community of mine. Although i can easily get the map looking good in terms of mountains and water i am having a few problems in terms of how much clay/tar and most of all how much resources (iron, gold, zinc and so on) the map should have. I dont want it to be to crowded with forests all over the place i would like for the forests to be the same as in WO in terms of different wood-types and what not. The resources should be a little bit easier to find then the regular WO-servers but at the same time not to easy. I currently using the wgenerator 2.7 so the numbers i am using is % for resources. You guys got any suggestions or tips for me? I can also give someone a finished map in terms of mountain and water and let that person put out forests/resources and what not if it turns out good i can pay you a small sum of $$$ as token of my gratitude. - Zorac

I am here, waiting for your questions! Well it will be "exclusive". All you have to do really is put in a application on the forums when they are up. I have made good progress on both the website and forums and expect them to be up real soon. Also thanks for the good luck and good luck to you as well!

Well start with 1024 and increase it when needed. You can see how much ram is being used by the server in the control panel and can also easily increase the servers ram.

Been using their solution to test my server and i will continue using them after going public with my server. No problems at all so far. Two thumbs up! I also started hosting my website and forums with them and everything is smooth for me so far! - Zorac

Hello there! I am long-time lurker of this game and been playing on and off since 2006 but mostly been lurking the forums and the news since 2011. I am a big fan of this game and with the release of Unlimited i think it is time for me to give something back to this community. Why do i want to do this? Well i am bit special in that regard. I tend to enjoy "running things". Don't get me wrong i do play games and enjoy them but sometimes i enjoy being on the sidelines as game-master/clan-leader/alliance-leader even more. I don't do that all the time, but the past 10 years i have been a game-master in 2 games and a clan-leader/alliance-leader once and for me those 3 experiences have been truly enjoyable. After reading a few topics here and regularly checking the server-list i feel that there is a void among the servers that i want to fill. The sort of server i would like to play on don't really exist but don't get me wrong, there is quite a few good servers out there but all of them lack something that i would love for them to have so i was like, screw it, I am starting my own community/server. Oh and by the way, some of you might now me as Zep but i wanted to go by my new name so i made a new account. Anyway that's enough about me and why i am doing this. I have already rented a server and started working a bit on a map but nothing is finished. I am 30+ hours in to making a website, forum and of course the map. I have a clear plan ahead for what type of community and server i want. I will rely quite heavily on the website and forums for this community so it is important to me that i make it good. So why i am looking for 1-2 people to help me out? Well i need help. I dont know this game so good anymore, this became quite clear after hanging out in the sklotopolis server topic (Hey Sklo, long time no see ). They are making a lot of changes to the mechanics in game and i am like "whaaat?". The thing is that i have zero experience with priests and farming and other important aspects of this game so this is something i need help with. That is one of many reasons, i also want someone to help even out the workload in the beginning. Of course after while you will get members in your community that you learn to trust and respect and these will also quite naturally help out with the workload in time. For anyone that is still interested i guess you want to know what kind of community i want to make. I actually have quite a good write-up on my website (that is not on the internet yet), so let me copy paste that.
