  1. With Terrain Composer, and RTPv3, we never had these issues. I suppose I could just bake out a new 16 bit render in Unity/TerrainComposer, export to .raw and hope PS doesn't junk the map once more when exporting to 16bit .png.
  2. The map is ours, hand drawn, the above screenshot is just very zoomed in. It was originally not 16bit but grey-scale .raw for a Unity 5 Project. I only grabbed a google map to test against my map.
  3. I had feared that was the possibility because when you look at the edges zoomed way in, its def not 16 bit. However yes the image has been set to Greyscale 16bit Channel, you cannot import an 8bit map.
  4. I am having this issue with a custom height map hand drawn. I have even ripped free maps off the net and get the same minecraft stepping pyramid effect. Am I missing a step or something? Pulling my hair out. Any explanation would help, thank you. No idea where to put this thread, feel free to move it mods.
