  1. Precise Mending Similar to Mend, a successful cast of the spell repairs exactly 1 damage but has zero QL loss. Failure causes 0.5 damage and cannot shatter. Channeling required: 70 Favor required: 100 Intended for items that can be damaged but cannot be improved, not to replace normal repair and improving.
  2. I like the idea of having 2 separate systems, one for PvP and one for PvE. Affinities (10% per level, max 5, more dramatic swings in power) and Inclinations (5% per level, max 10, more slow and grindy), maybe. They only work in their own domain and have appropriate ways of gaining them.
  3. Do runes like gathering QL work on beehives? What runes do work on hives?
  4. Early glass windows weren't even clear, they let in light but you couldn't really see out them so no new code for transparent objects, just new art.
  5. I propose adding plaques to the game. They would function similar to signs, with the same limits for off-deed planting, but have a much, much higher character limit to allow more detailed messages that can be read with a "Read" option that brings up a new window. Created with: 1 metal plate + 5 Bricks. Improves like masonry items. Description would be along the lines of "It's a <metal type> plate attached to a <rock type> base. It has a message you can read." This would allow both a short name to be placed on it and a much longer message, great for museums, memorials, town squares or anywhere else you can come up with. This picture would have the name "Plaque, Sandstone (White County Freedom Park)" and when you used the Read option you'd see the rest of the text pop up in a new window.
  6. Build a bridge over the clay section, Steve.
  7. Add a "macro" tab to the hotkeys menu. As long as the no automation rule is followed its still just filling your queue with fewer presses. Fancy keyboards would add more macro slots/special buttons, but that's hardly anything to write home about as far as advantages. +1
  8. Allow the placement of sealed containers, such as sealed crates, on merchants. If a merchant is on a deed on the highway system, allow players to buy items from them remotely and have them delivered to their deed or chosen drop off point. Using either a new NPC, item, or waystone get a list of all available merchants, and their inventories. This would require some changes to the merchant interface, don't want items being snatched up before you can adjust the prices.
  9. If supreme handles and whatnot are an issue due to concerns of rare moonmetal stuff, then have it require the moonmetal blade be rare to get the 1/3 chance.
  10. Currently is you are creating a item from 2 parts (ex blade + handle) the rarity of any part is ignored. If the item has 3 or more parts, it's chance of passing on the rarity of any part is 1/# of parts. Make the chance for rarity being passed on for 2 part items 1/3. It feels wrong that when I get a rare blade, it's only value is as sac fodder.
  11. Turning a game into an MMO completely destroys many single player and even a lot of multiplayer game mechanics. It's an apples vs neutronium comparison.
  12. Feels like there has just been a lot less fog these days compared to when they were first released.
  13. -1 I recommend hiring someone. Now if only wagoners would allow us to "bus" to work.
  14. Cast Courier or Dark Messenger on a practice doll. Doll now hits back (trains shield skill), defends it's self (lasts longer) and can be taunted (responds with rude emotes). All skills have the same limit of 20 as fight skill. Enchantment gradually wears down with use.
  15. You just removed gods from Freedom without removing them from Epic, just do the same thing and give Vynora back to Freedom and don't give her to Epic.
  16. A wagoner has been added to The Royal Oak Port at H5
  17. Food affinities are a great addition to the game, but they are hamstrung because and new skills would change everyone's affinity food. New skills either need to replace an old one or not be able to be gained through food. A new method that is future proof against new skills being added. Normal cooking methods randomly assign affinities to food. To get a specific affinity on food: Right click the container and select "Prepare food." Choose the desired affinity from the pop-up menu. A timer (10-20 sec) counts down as some RP text plays. You fail, succeed or greatly succeed! Fail: Affinity is still random and unknown until cooked. Try again. Succeed: The chosen affinity is assigned to the meal Greatly succeed: A random second, minor affinity is also added to the food. Rarity, complexity and ingredients have their normal effects on affinity strength, duration and CCFP. With this method as many skills as the devs want could be added without ever needing to worry about disrupting food affinities.
  18. +1 More ways to train weapons to a basic level is good.
  19. So Freedom will be purely Fo, Vyn, Mag and Lib missions once the current player god missions cycle out?
  20. [00:19:48] You can see multiple markers of abandoned settlements here. Based on your knowledge of the area and small hints you can find, one of the settlements must have been called Darkenstone Arboretum. My first find, E13.
  21. 1) Add sandstone and slate versions of existing statues. 2) Wood statues! Use an axe on a felled tree, imp like any other carpentry item. 3) Metal statues! Combine beeswax and use Hand on the wax to create a Wax Statue of X Mold Use clay on Wax Mold to create a Clay Statue Statue of X Mold Fire the Clay Statue Statue of X Mold to create a Pottery Statue of X Mold Finally, to create the metal statue combine a glowing Metal Lump with the Pottery Statue of X Mold to create the unfinished <Metal Type> Statue of X. Keep adding glowing metal lumps until finished. No new art assets (except maybe wax?), just combining textures with existing models.
