Cause sending OP creatures at Starter Deeds has always sounded like a good idea. I'll be watching death tabs tonight. Sounds like a waste of GM time to go through the effort of watching people die. Why not just code something like this in and make it hit random deeds every couple weeks like Rifts?

Corvand has a huge ego, was back in JK when I wooped his ass in a spar. Nothing is wrong with using dual swords. I used to run around with Long/Short swords for awhile not the most optimal but if you're just doing PvE stuff I don't see the problem. You're not likely to get a spare horse at a rift, most spare horses get handed out before the rift. I'd say your best bet was to try and get a friend to help you recover your body and horse(hopefully before it dies). It's hard to find someone trustworthy enough to recover your body without stealing your stuff though. This game has had terrible instances of thievery. Helped one guy recover his body at a rift once, he was carrying scale and rare items, but I wasn't about to risk reputation over stealing a few in game items and gave his body back with everything on it. Just remember you can also set those people that berated you on ignore, that way you don't have to hear them again.

Always keep a backup game for instances like this. Playing Animal Crossing for the time being, hoping the server will get back up before I go to bed.

Yeah, sucks I really wanted to finish digging an area before bed, but it looks like that's not going to happen now. Looks like Gumbo beat me to making the thread.

Thanks for all the work into this! The lag has almost injured me a dozen times it's not fun falling down a couple 300 slope ledges. But what if this change doesn't fix the lag issue?

Mages shouldn't be moving up to the front lines. They should stick to casting in the back. Let them casts buff spells as well to increase the intensity.

It's an interesting idea. Just a huge giant server of mountains with only one tile of beach to land on and work from. The rest of the map would be mountains/hills up to the sky box.

+1 We got enough dragons why not another mythical creature to pop out of the rift? Rift Sphinx or a Giant Rift Cockatrice

+1 I don't see why not, but I wouldn't be talking to anyone because I'm no longer in a living kingdom. Being able to join from Freedom would be a nice option as well.

+1 to overhaul the Animal Taming system. As it is now most people just tame and collect them in pens. I've used the taming for an extra bit of damage by my side at times, but it's not worth it when they are usually the first target and first to die. Pets are currently just trophies or meatshields.

+1 I noticed the journal entry There was a Holy Crop cast on Inde and it got me thinking that this journal entry would only benefit the person who sees and casts it first. Not everyone is going to know when the spell is ready nor will they have enough priests around to cast it themselves.

They're probably just gonna restart it again thinking it'll temporarily fix it. It's actually gotten worse since the restart. 8 Hours after restart the server started having few second lag spikes, then an hour later we're at 5min lag spikes. I don't think restarting the server is even a temporary fix for this. Just bring the server down, don't let anyone on until the issue is found and fixed, then compensate us for the time it was down. It's impossible to play at this rate anyway!

Yeah, great a bandaid on a bleeding gash. I hope this gets sorted.

Remove Haven's Landing being the spawn point and tutorial for noobs. Ever since this was implemented/built we've had very long backup lag and laggy action timers.
