  1. [15:43:15] The items silently disappear from the spirit castle. You expect them to arrive in less than ten minutes. Referral was sold to Zacheris. Enjoy, mate.
  2. Selling referral for 6s. buyer pays COD if mail trade. Pm in-game or over forum.
  3. Server is down and being reset, there are other threads popping up about this.
  4. A public TS?? I'm so there!
  5. Likewise, gravatar did the trick for me as well.
  6. I am a new player to wurm, I have been playing for less than 24 hours in-game (Still have my newbie perks). I have been reading through the forums to see what kind of community I will be getting myself involved with. After reading through the entirety of this thread, I feel as though it would be a good idea to share my opinion as a new player: fresh off the tutorial island boat, if you will. I believe the current rules are fine the way they are, I believe players are having issues because they are not "Preparing for the worst and hoping for the best", as Keenan put it... Basically what I mean here is that the rules are pretty self sufficient and clear to the community, and it is the victim's fault with not securing their property the way they should that meets said mechanics and deed rules. I also saw a post that new players do not find out what a deed steak is, I found out what it is and what it does within the first 30 minutes of playing, I am currently searching for the perfect piece of land to place it to mark my property and build myself up from there. Also, the community has been very helpful and friendly towards me. I joined a settlement that I found right in local chat on complete accident while finding said "Perfect Spot" to place my deed steak. Bottom line is, I believe new players can be engaged enough to learn what needs to be done within the first 24hrs of fiddling with the game and their characters. I have read a lot of threads on the forums when I'm not online, used the wiki for everything I did not understand (Until I joined the before mentioned settlement, then I started asking the people there all sorts of questions lol). Figured out how to carve wood, make bows, kindling, how to fuel a forge to smelt iron ore from our mines... and so on. And by the way, good to meet you all!
  7. Personally I was having problems getting wurm to run without crashing and this thread is for easy access and syntax for those new players to easily find a solution. A little guide for you is below. I will provide an example with a solution based on an issue I was having myself. OS: Windows 10 Graphic card: Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family. (Compatibility mode in Windows 7 not needed, works fine running in 10). After upgrading to win10, you will have problems running games with any graphical contenOS: Windows 10 Graphic card: Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family. To fix this, simply google "Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family Driver",OS: Windows 10 Graphic card: Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family. (Compatibility mode in Windows 7 not needed, works fine running in 10). After upgrading to win10, you will have problems running games with any graphical content. To fix this, simply google "(Your driver model) Driver" , select the result that applies to your graphics card publisher and download the driver that fits your OS. I downloaded the x64 (32bit) for Windows 8, as it fits and works fine on my win10. Unzip the file you get then run the installer included in the package (If the package does not come with an installer, install the driver manually via device manager). After installing, reboot your computer and open wurm. Go under the compatibility tab and disable GLSL. - It is recommended you run with all of the graphics and details at minimum, even with it all turned all the way down it's still a little bit laggy due to an old graphics driver. Login and run the game, enjoy! Hope the above helps! - Shadow
  8. Brash, I will make a new thread for those lower end PC players you said wurm seems to pick up so they can easily find a solution. I am happy to be of assistance. -Shadow

  10. With everything disabled and running the legacy drivers, it works. Turning off debug mode and starting to play now. Thanks a bunch, mates.
  11. I am using a 2007 model Dell laptop with Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family. Also, I did not say Ubuntu wasn't working with wurm, I am currently reverting back to windows 7 and installing Ubuntu now. I'll give that guide a go before reverting back to win7, maybe there's some hope yet! ;D
  12. I'm reverting back to win 7 pro, 10 has been nothing but a headache. I'm getting a new computer soon anyway.
  13. I have uninstalled all of my drivers, restarted my computer and let windows driver finder reinstall them upon reboot. I double checked if the right drivers were put in place with slimdrivers. I then reinstalled Java to the latest version. I am still having the same persisting issue, not sure what else to do. *Edit* I'll try running this on Ubuntu...
