  1. I haven't playerd WO in 5 or 6 years, i was able to reset my password but how do I find out what all of my character names were? I know I had maybe one or 2 alts but where do I go to find out what they were? It seems like I remember there was possibly an in game command that sent me the names but I'm probably mistaken.
  2. I think as long as you had the right people you wouldn't have to worry about them abusing powers.
  3. I'm wondering if there are any servers running for creative purposes where all players get GM powers. I'm having fun building an awesome village with ebony wand powers in my own private world but wonder what it would be like to play with others and everyone has the power to create like GMs do. Any servers out there like that?
  4. On digging: I've set my toon to 5. Using ebony wand set my digging skill to 99.999999 which gives me 100 digging. I'm on a private map doing some crazy terraforming but running into the problem of max slope when digging or leveling flattening etc. I hit 298 slope and that's it. I thought ebony wand ignores slope? Also regarding the big "flatten" command I was under impression that it does a large area at once but just does on single tile at a time like a normal player. Is there a GM way to not have to worry about thirst and food? Having to stop and rest as a level 5 dev doesn't make any sense. The big thing is the digging I would like to make walls on much steeper slopes than what my skill requires. Is there some setting for the wand I'm missing? Is there a legend or guide for using the auxdata and other settings? Thanks
  5. Question about ore... Even by adjusting the ore percentages using this tool is the ore distribution like that of wurm online? From my understanding ore types are regional like one area would have the lion's share of silver while gold would be found in a completely different part of the map. It seems like when I'm looking at ore map that every ore type is spread evenly...everywhere.
  6. As part of my idea for my own private wurm, I would love to have an extensive underground mine that's capable of being lived in. This type of thing has been asked for countless times for WO but doesn't look like it will ever happen. I'm looking for gates or house walls...think doors..to block off certain tunnels. And the ability to build massive houses insides a mine. Maybe even make it possible to grow certain crops there too. Possiblities are endless. Hope someone can do this!
  7. As far as dropping dirt goes: On a flat tile dropping the default setting of 60 dirt per tile really means 15 dirt per corner? So if I want an in game dirt layer on same tile to be 100 deep I need to set generator at 400 right?
  8. At the very least I wish the text telling you that you stop leading is highlighted.
  9. Budda a couple of questions: 1) Is it possible for the map generation to be more random with mountains appearing on coastal edges? Every seed I've used always recreates just random clusters of mountains always in the center of the map. 2) Can you add a Max slope setting to erosion? I would love to smooth away the foothills and valleys of the land surrounding the mountains without touching the tall jagged peaks I'm getting. Thanks so much for the help and for creating this!
  10. Niche Games

Low population doesn't scare me...I play wurm after all lol. I do like these suggestions as most of them I've never heard of. I only heard of wurm a few years ago when SWG ended and Raph Koster mentioned it in a blog talking about sandbox games. I've never seen it since and if it wasn't for that blog I would never had found wurm.
  11. I've already got an account and a ship. The game exists and I can login in whatever form it's in alpha atm. I've already played it.
  12. Budda any tips on how to make mountains like on the celebration map dump? The single large pointy peaks (Dragon fang) on Indy etc?
