  1. Just about down to 8 hours, so far it looks like nobody wants to top your bid Garit, but we'll have to see I guess ^^ edit: Under an hour left now ^^ Almost done
  2. Added 1h snipe protection then, again sorry for the edits as editing an auction after it being live is probably not very good but better then it getting sniped by someone eh? Hope nobody has an issue with this.
  3. Heh sounds good, let's just hope you win it then eh? I also realized that I didn't put any snipe protection in the post either... ugh man I'm a rookie at this... Obviously don't want someone to come in at the last second without a chance to respons for other people... I'm not even sure about how snipe protection really works, I've seen people mention it and people set it at 1H and stuff but not sure what that means in reality, 1 hour more for anyone to bid after the latest bid even after it's ended ad infinitum or what..?
  4. Yeah I assumed as much, hopefully nobody minds and I'll restore it if there are complaints but I'm assuming (possibly incorrectly) that people don't really want to wait those extra 3 days. Also what a jerk thing to do..
  5. Shortened it to 3 days, should be plenty for anyone interested I hope, please do let me know otherwise.. Have to excuse my newness to setting these things up
  6. True but I assumed that was bad form to change the time when an auction ends, so I guess it's up to the people here if they want me to or not.
  7. Bumping the post, sure seems the interest died down at that price eh?
  8. I think he means something like, when a timer is finished the text (example: Meditation (E) 3 ready!) would be the color you set it to (so it stands out a bit more I think the intended effect was)
  9. Quite a nice start to the auction, starting to wonder if I set it a bit too long duration Oh well.
  10. Much better and way more compact now! Sweet stuff but the only problem is you can't actually use it's minimal nature because of the buttons, they decide the minimum window size so even if they are smaller then the width of the window you can't make it that small if you only have one char (same goes for height, not sure what limits it there)
  11. The only problem I would have with using that is indeed how large it is, look at the in-game timers and/or skilltracker as they are quite compact, just glancing over the timers there's loads of space that is just "dead" in the sense that it serves no function, the function would be a progress bar, a name and the timer number, the progress bar could be behind the text showing the name/number. I have no idea how hard this would be to make with the tools you got at your disposal, it's just my thoughts and you're the only one that can really know how feasible something like that would be. You could seriously compress it though if you did that and only show say the last few triggered ones (that you can then click away or have disappear after X seconds like now depending on your settings) in one row and the upcoming ones in another.
  12. Thanks! The fix to 24h sermon reset helps, I wish I could give you more info regarding resets and stuff but I don't fully understand it either, it seems like it's both character and server based... Almost like if your character is on a server that gets reset it gets tagged to reset. Have someone actually tried crossing servers to pray/sermon on a different server? It's just so weird and if I do find any conclusive info I sure will provide it.
  13. I was kind of expecting something like that, I assume there's no good way around it besides having to manually refresh them every time I want them to reset (or run the timers on that computer obviously) Anyway thanks for letting me know.
  14. I have a question that someone may or may not be able to answer. I run an alt on a second computer but I want the timer to run on my main computer so I keep track of it all in one place. My homebrew solution was to network share the players folder and create a windows symlink to fool my computer into thinking the char is on my computer. It seems to mostly work but sometimes it loses sync it seems, it's like it doesn't quite get all the updates it should but if I remove/add it back to "refresh" it then it's synced up fine. Any idea why? Maybe a bad idea to run it like that in the first place? Any input is appreciated
  15. Oh yeah I thought I'd report this, sermon timers are set to reset on every 24h uptime but they don't actually reset then (only on server downtime) and I'm pretty sure alignment follows the same rule, reset on server downtime but not 24h uptime.
  16. Also make sure that you haven't moved where you installed wurm recently, that's exactly how it behaved for me when I did that!
  17. Nope no special characters, the character also used to work fine earlier but stopped working at some point. Uhm for some reason it's working again, I haven't rebooted or anything but I have added more skilldumps since... Weird as hell! I'll let you know if I can figure out what the problem was or it returns..
  18. Hmmm I seem to have run into a problem, I just tried to make a graph of one of my characters but it's just showing up as blank, can't select anything (no skill groups) but all other characters works fine. The one that is bugged has like 179 skill dumps so maybe it starts to bug out at some point? Will probably try to remove some dumps and see if it helps.
  19. So I've been wondering, how accurate are the measurements in this compared to ingame? I was trying to line up the height of 2 buildings but on different dirt heights and couldn't seem to get it right and Xsamuraizx on IRC said 30 dirts should be accurate but in deedplanner it looks more accurate at around 34-35. Thoughts?
  20. That came off much more hostile then I was intending, though it was supposed to be a bit hostile/defensive. The last sentence was not supposed to sound sarcastic although that's how it came out. To clarify it WAS my fault and I SHOULD have checked for known issues before making the post but getting thrown into the same group that make posts expecting everything handed to them not reading everything just rubbed me the wrong way I appreciate your efforts in terms of this program, makes wurm a lot more pleasant
  21. Thanks, I did read more then just "download here!" of the post but that was quite a while ago so obviously since I don't have eidetic memory I don't remember a known issue that didn't affect me at the time. One could have thought that step (rebuilding the database) would be included and ran (at least optionally) if you run the wizard again rather then going into a specific feature that you may never have used and pressing a specific button to fix an issue that only seem to happen in fairly specific circumstances. But it's obviously my fault and I should have re-checked the post again before making the post, sorry about that.
