Seems to be a problem with putting multiple items into a tray of the tackle box. Whether it is hooks or minnows, only 1 will go in the first time. You have to retry to get the rest to go in. And for the record, I am able to put 5 each of gold, silver, steel, iron, and brass hooks in my tacklebox. The box is 82.73 ql.

But you can take a keg with you. Kegger party on the beach!

Good point They just need to have yo add a cordage rope to the spear, voila, a harpoon. Harpoon guns would be much later.

I haven't actually gotten to fishing yet, still making and imping all the equipment so I can test. But I already have some complaints. 1. Grubs should not be that hard to find. I searched out to find over 100 shriveled trees and only managed to get grubs from 2 of them. They are BAIT, they should be easy to get. It is the fish that should be difficult. 2. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to find wurms on dirt tiles. tried every tool I had, no option to find wurms. No pick wurms option in the menus, nothing from forage or Botanize either. Again, they are bait and should be easy to get. 3. I've checked over 100 bushes, all types, and cannot find a twig. IRL I can go out in my yard right now and find twigs, and I don't have to look under any trees or bushes. A twig should not be hard to find. 4. I've made most everything, and now imping all the parts. The entire rod-reel-line-hook arrangement is more complicated than it needs to be for a game. I have to worry about all the parts wearing down at different rates and replacing them. The old line and pole maintenance was enough. 5. All in all I feel it has become complicated enough that it is a game unto itself. If you want to get good at it now you have to devote ALL your time to it and ignore the rest of the game. And I'm saying this as someone with 99.70 fishing skill already, so it doesn't make much difference to me on skillgain. You have made it unnecessarily complicated to cater to a small group that would enjoy it that way. Look at how much you can take out to make this more simple to do. That's all I have for now. After I get to really do some fishing with all these rods, reels, nets, etc. I'll let you know what I think of that.

I thought I had a similar problem when I tried to drag all my different hooks into the hooks compartment; it only let one type go in. But I tried to drag the rest in on a second try and they all went in. Try to not drag them all in at once, just drag 1 type at a time and you should be ok.

Same for me with my lantern; no light from it unless I drop it. I also snuffed it and relit, no change.

Lanterns are not working on Indy. Mine shows as lit, but gives no light. Snuffed it and relit, still no light.

Any ideas about how to get rid of that "examine" window? Most useless thing I've ever seen.

Waiting for the update to be complete, just like you. I know I will be making some of those right along with all the fishing equipment.

Until now fishing has been a boring skill. Now they have updated it with most of what was requested. I for one suggested the buoy they are adding today 4 or more years ago. Now it's here. Your harpoon may get added one day, if there is enough interest in it. That's what the suggestion forum is for.

But you are just repeating yourself over and over. It does no good to keep it up, you just get to be annoying to everyone, and it's not good for your health either. You have expressed yourself, now let it go. I for one am going to take my dog for a long walk, I suggest you do something similar.

Stop complaining about how much you spent on the game. We all spent money and are waiting too. You have played this game before and it has always been the same when updates are added. This is the biggest update they have ever done, so you should expect it to take a lot longer. I don't know what is bothering you today, you have never been this way ingame. You need to just let it go and do something else for a while. Getting upset is not going to do you any good and will not make this go any faster.

Since Wurm is not earth, there is no reason that all development should happen at the same time as it did on earth. So we can have ships from several centuries, and many fishing rods. You also have to remember that most of those things added were added at the players' request, so some of us want these things. And some items are hard to code correctly, so you may not see them even if they are ancient items.

My concern is how the tutorial will work on Indy. It was put on a separate server before for a reason. I don't want to see a huge area of damage and junk items just because the newbs are training here. I'd rather they were in an enclosed area until they have finished training, then a set of portals to use if they do not want to start on Indy.

I was just trying to be amusing and get you to cool down. Evidently that is not possible. Chill out, nothing you say here is going tot make it go any faster, and being negative does not help anybody. Go do something else rather than sit here and stew about it.

Too much coffee this morning? It is a huge update, don't try to rush them. Expect to get more SB and possibly some powders too. Once it is up we will then find all that is broken and they will restart the servers again. Now you can let this drive you crazy or just go with the flow and do your part to help them fix it by reporting errors.

Thanks for the information, it relieves my mind. But I will try to start a new trade in selling 99ql coops. It will be a lot of work, so I won't sell them cheap, but at 99 in Carpentry and FC, I think I can handle it.

Just one more question, will I still get my 99ql eggs from free roaming chickens? Seems to me it would make sense, as that is how it works RL, but making sense isn't always the goal here in Wurm.

I have a problem with the ql of the eggs being affected by the ql of the coop. I was getting 99ql eggs from them just roaming in a pen. I really don't want to see that change, so I won't want to use a coop either. I prefer to actually see chickens roaming around than just a coop with them all loaded in like egg factories we have RL that make eggs so nasty tasting.

They still will not be able to imp anything, so what they make will always be low ql.

I wanted to make a red cloth suit for the holidays but I am having a problem. I went to make a cloth jacket into a red jacket following directions. First I added water and have an unfinished red jacket. Then I went to add a cochineal. It would not give me the continue option. Turns out the assembly in the crafting window is asking for 1 conch, not 1 cochineal. You gotta spell the words right every time guys. These darned computers do exactly what you tell them to do, not what you meant to tell them.

I was starving and Tich gave me food, a meal made of roaches. I was brand new to the game and was thankful for the first act of kindness in Wurm I ever got. But I will admit I was worried about a meal made of roaches, as the name has a different meaning here in the U.S.
