  1. My wife's server had rotting crops. I checked the properties file and found that it is not filled in with the necessary lines. If anyone has a problem with rotting crops, just complete the properties file for the cropmod. This is from the 0.34 download.
  2. [RELEASED] Live Map

Instead of over-writing again, I emptied the client folder and installed the client and live map mods again. The live map works for me now, so I must have made an error while over-writing yesterday. Thank you for updating for the 1.6 update. Now, if someone would just update the move and skill mods, I would be back to where I was before updating.
  3. [RELEASED] Live Map

Does not work on mine. Non-dedicated
  4. [old thread]

This is a great server! And I really like that there are many players from a previous server on which I was playing. Thanks Mizova for creating a server that is what most Wurmians want.
  5. If it makes so much sense, explain why there is acceleration for gardens. The concept that acceleration is necessary for the many people who do not run the game except when they play is quite simple. Another question is why is there no warning on the store page about this problem. Thanks for the mod idea. I will look give it a go.
  6. Well ya. That was the point of my post. Trees and animals should have accelerated aging as do gardens. It makes no sense that after 226 hours of play my animals have not aged.
  7. Is animal and tree aging going to be fixed? 226 hours into the game and not one of my animals has aged. Ridiculous!! How could you even put this game up for sale without having fixed this problem first!!? Patch after useless patch but no patch for what really matters. It should have been obvious a single player game was not going to be running except while being played but no provision for animal and tree aging was made. Stop with the dds patches and create a patch that matters.
  8. This. Cannot do anything more with my knarr as it is stuck on my transporter. Hours and hours of work down the tubes and no idea if this bug will be fixed any time soon. I am a paying player toying with the idea of leaving the game due to this bug and others.
  9. Is this bug going to be fixed? It really ticks me off I spent so much time working on a knarr and now it is stuck on my transporter. This has been a known bug for some time. It is bs like this that causes some to leave the game.
  10. Ok. Here is another thumbs down from someone who purchased the game. I did not leave a review on Steam, so when calculating negative percentages you can include mine. I give it a negative because I spent at least 8 hours: changing browsers, downloading and installing java, uninstalling java, downloading again, moving java to different folders, making various changes to the LaunchConfig. After all that, the game never started a single time. So I got a refund. The only one I have ever applied for. I have disliked nearly half of the games I bought on Steam, but only this one have I refunded. I refunded it strictly because it would not start. Read the forums on Steam. There are many complaints from people who had a working WU that quit working after a day or two for absolutely no apparent reason. There are numerous complaints about many different problems. You White Knight types need to understand that a buggy game is the fault of the developers. Stop putting the blame on the buyers. The game has problems and buyers should not have to find work arounds. I will purchase again if these bugs are at least mostly fixed and, most importantly, it becomes a true single player game. That means No Internet Connection Needed! Had I read more deeply, I would have realized WU requires internet connection and not purchased it to begin with. I only realized it while reading posts in the technical questions forum. System requirements section does Not state WU requires an internet connection. Why not? Fear of fewer sales?
  11. Type of cheese does not really matter anyway. As soon as you put it into an FSB, it just becomes "cheese". At least the sheep "buffalo" cheese does.
  12. I am working on body control now. I cannot yet ride, but in the next day or two I shall. I stand by my distaste for combat. Being hit by a wolf, cat or mountain lion a couple of times (or even once) before I can get close enough to hit back is just ridiculous. There are so many other games with much better combat that if I want combat I will play one of those.
  13. I was going to quit but some suggested creating another toon on Xanadu. I did and was able to find a large enough area that has not been ruined by terra-forming. I have enjoyed the game so far, and will for a while yet. I was just wondering if there might be more beyond what I have already done. It is nice to see all the responses. As far as combat goes, I find it rather ridiculous. I have been hit by a wild cat that was sitting down about thirty feet away. It was so far away I was knocked down to about 66% health before I knew I was being hurt. I could see that cat's paw moving, but I had no idea it was hitting me. I tried fighting back, but as usual I was "too far away". Strange how wolves and bears can bite me but I am too far away to hit them with my huge axe. No. If there is one thing I dislike more than civilization it is the horrid combat.
