    I like what you are doing , But let me add what you should add to your plate. I loved Wurm the first day I played. There are some issues that just for the life of me I can't understand why the Dev team has not got a focus on,

    Issue 1. Multi story 14 floors and even tho you have allowed for different material for walls the wall designs are to little. There needs to be minimal 5 types of Doors an Windows for each wall type Stone, Wood, Stucco. Minimal 5 Fences each from Wood, Poles, Metal, Stone, Stone with Bars, Just plain Bars.

    I've heard about Wooden docks that needs to be expanded to being able to add actual balconies you can walk on attached to the side of buildings.

     

    Another Issue I recently just noticed that has bothered me is distant rendering of Objects. I was standing on my friends dock which is across the water from my dock and I can see the roads trees on my deed but can't see the building's and other stuff. It is like having a cheat where I can see threw the walls. 

    Need to allow for players to have a choice of how far objects can appear. I understand some people have lower end pc's but you need to understand a portion of the gaming world spend a lot of money on there pc's for entertainment. You need to tailor options in that allow us to use our pc's.

    If I'm 70 tiles away and want to see them buildings and walls I should have a option to allow objects that far to appear on my screen. A slider in the graphics option to allow for object distance is a must. I know there is distant rendering in the options but in my opinion it is set for lower end pc's I need a slider to increase that distant even further .

     

    Ok going to go there store items now let me rant. I'm not paying 8's for a chair skin. That's 8 to 9 us dollars for a skin you better give me a set for that price. It's a virtual object has no real value to me or anyone. That better come as a set of least 4 to 6 chair skins.

    I'd say add random affinity purchase to the store. You can use monthly points to buy them why not for cash as well.

    I've bought all the premium time i will buy ahead of time for random affinities i have over 100 as of now.

    [16:25:51] You have premium time until 26 Jul 2040 23:42:34 GMT there is no reason for me to keep buying years of premium time to buy affinities want me to spend more money make them available by cash.

    I'm really affected cause I might have one of the biggest deeds in wurm my deed is Night Blood Forest it is 273x175 with a trader an the 20% discount i pay 76s44c a month with out I was paying around 95s or 96s that's a big difference over a year that's 1g 40s a year increase.

    I'm not rich I work hard for my money. I'm not about to be crapped on an told well you just got to pay more mr deep pockets so you can compensate for those that pay there premium and deeds by making items in game which these people play for free who use this as a system. People Know I buy gold all the time 1 to 2g at a time and buy goods from everyone in large orders. My wallet funds the game in a major way. Take my small discount away I'm gone back to WU and back to modding. I choose to pay to play but I can always go back and any thing this dev team can do I can do and do what they want do. Anyone who knows me from WU knows I have the knowledge and programs to do so.

     

    As much money as I boat in a year I deserve a discount.

    2023  723.25 us so far this year

    2022  just from oct 1st to end of dec I spent 2,378.04 us in WO

    I pay enough no more pinching my wallet 20% goes I go.

    This money investor doesn't like the removal of my 20% discount. I spend 2s shy of 1g a month on deed upkeep without the trader discount, with I spend only 76s 44c. Now I'm hearing I will have a rent increase of 22s so now instead of buying 114.76 x 9 a year now I will have to buy another 2g 64s so almost a 300 us dollar increase.

    Might need to go back to Wurm Unlimited and start modding my own server again and wake up my files of personal mods and start adding stuff like I was. Remember Team I choose to play here and give you money It's a choice but not a option. Trust me it's not the money,  money I got its the principle of it.

    You can still do the high iron fences in arches just not by using the crafting window select trowel and have mats in inventory  select tile boarder and plan. After the plan you can have the craft window add the wall and build with the craft window but to plan need to activate the trowel and do first plan.

     

    Now that I spoke of this it will be removed lol.

    I got to jump in here and just give my 2 cents not trying to butt heads but QOL for new players hang it up. Unless you going to throw out a trophy and a great job flash on the screen for every little thing they do games like this are not for the new generations that where not born in a time where you worked for things an reward was what you accomplished.

    That's why cash shops and instant win games where you can go from 0 to 100 in 30 days of 4 hr play are so popular among the new generations this is dads and moms game from the past. I don't care what you do you are not going to get todays spoiled generations with Iphone's to stay. Don't get me wrong some kids where raised the old way but most where spoiled and feel Entitled to every thing with out having to earn any thing so trying to bring in this generation you are beating that poor horse to bone.

     

    I'd say focus on the generation that is here an you know is here. Or go make Wurm Online 2 with all the spoils they want.

    Wurm can work fine with just head view using VorpX that's why I mentioned it. I'm curious if they looked into VorpX. And you don't need all that retarded hand control crap all wurm needs is the face VR and thats all I would ever use it for.

    I know there was talk about VR in the back ground have you'll looked into VorpX?  If you have a set up I'd be willing to do some testing. I'm not interested in controllers just head view. I have a Vive and this is something I'd love to see come to Wurm the ability to just be able to see in first person view VR.

    It has come to my attention being a huge deed owner that the in game deed planer don't show any thing building wise past 80 tiles from the token. It shows all tile type but when it comes to walls fences 80 tiles is a limit this is not good when planning or trying to see what I've done in game or with the stand alone 3d planer. Can we get this fixed plz for least up to a 300x300 radius? My deed is 273x175 and this just sucks that it doesn't work properly.

    1.I have a full set of drake but i had to buy mine only 1 scale still sets in a LMC i got from 1 public slaying.

    2. Rip this system down rebuild it it sucks plain and simple played for 12 years on SFI never got invite never able to join public slayings don't recall many on indy but with a full time job makes it hard to join.

    Rift system have been able to join many times between full time job and had some fun. either change it to include all with the chance or strip it from the game.

    3. stop making new threads about the same issue when there is one already going please.

     

    If it was based on the same system mechanics as a rift it could include other people but you would have to make several rift types to include everyone reasons are.....

     

    • Not everyone has the FS to hit them as it stands so new mechanics need to be added
    • Need to remove private slaying and remove what is kind of a monopoly on a mob
    • A point system could be added to have a market for other items to earn
    • Could give x amount of points to the person who discovers the mob location. Could include a spyglass as a discovery option tool
    • When mob has been spotted the person who spotted it is added to the world msg example...Deathknight has spotted a green dragon sleeping with a FS of 61-80 the dragon will wake in 7days 12hrs an 22 mins Last spotted near Deed.

    If you have under or over if try to hit the dragon you get msg the dragon seems to be invulnerable to your attacks. results you can't get any loot or skill nothing from being there.

    1. What this does is removes alts sucking up rewards.
    2. Stops the dragging of more toons to the area than needs to be causing lag issues.
    3. Allows all Levels above 40 FS to participate in a endgame mob.
    4. Gets rid of GM involvement.

    Below is a what if reward

    40-60 player with most dmg gets a rare random dragon armor piece but is not awarded any dragon scale

    61-80 player with most dmg gets a supreme random dragon armor piece but is not awarded any dragon scale

    81-100 player with most dmg gets a Fantastic random dragon armor piece but is not awarded any dragon scale

     

    Yes I have a set of drake hide did i earn it no had to buy it which sucks cause i would have rather earned it but do to the mechanics that are inplace i had no choice. Id love to see this changed cause paying 660 us dollars to get a set for a fantasy game that at any time can go under for world reasons is a load of bull.

    All unique should be public event always never private.

    I could jump on a point system like the rift but hide and bloods have to be separate. and new items to be added to the point system like new skins that are dragon like example the priest staff skin.

    If you don't do damage you get nothing no points no hide/blood nothing nada. Only people that should be at these events are those who have earned the skill to be there. no alts sucking up anything so goes back to no damage no goodies awarded. This would prevent the greed of alts selling hide and bloods after each event for profit. I hate when someone brings a cart load of alts lagging the area and getting something for doing nothing. you want your alt to get something take them in with your main and have them fight the unique to and take the same chance of dying as everyone else and if they don't have the skill to do damage then don't take them in there.

     

    The system is unfair and used as a money grab for a lot of people just like world traders where used back in the day thank god that is gone now this needs to be gone as well.

     

    I show up to the public stuff when I have time and i don't cry when it don't meet my time frame. I have to choose do I go and loose sleep before work or sleep and have a better day at work.

    Stop giving out trophies for just showing up an start making people earn the stuff.

    Why don't we have a title for Achievements 50 70 90 and 100 with some type of bonus for like the blacksmithing title

    this is something id like to see added and before anyone says cause people don't get that high i have 67 affinities and about to hit 70 soon and id like an achievement title.
