  3. so far it seems to be having more negative changes than positives ones. the people that used to force people to do thing they way they like it(which doesn't mean its the best way) now have the official support of code-club while before this wiki managers thing they did it without their support. im glad i got my accounts years ago when Eir was still around but i guess soon il be kicked out because i don't agree with making all pages equal just for equality's sake

  6. lol to you thinking this helps people that sells enchants on weapons, i know the only reason i paid for good enchants its because they were supposed to be a 1 time cost that will last forever,much less people will pay for LT now

  8. my settins are the lowest they could posibly be,and my image still looks better. i play with a 2004 computer that wasnt even that good in 2004
  9. im just comparing the paint results for simple jpg images with his "improved results" with paint shop pro or whatever. i understand in some cases it may look better but not for simple images like that one
  10. no offense but i did my own test satchel image taken with wurm using f11 and then cropped with paint(what we can expect most people would do) that image is 4kb and looks much better than yours.
  11. well more than just following what budda suggests you should use,if you read the guide it tells you what does and doesnt improve performance,also read a few comments,they recommend things like turning off sound
  12. ok,since bwg its working on some new table and it will change anyway,better wait for that to remove whatever needs removing i think. i made the yes,no table but also looking at it i think it would be better to just put yes/blank instead of yes/no
  13. why would you bother using the crafting interface when its much easier to use the activate and continue keybinds? i guess if its easy to do it would be an ok change,i dont see why anyone would use it but i guess people do. but why only guard towers? if they going to do it for guard towers they can also do it for obelisks,plylons,etc. have you though that a side efect this would have is the woa on the hammer/mallet would affect the speed?
  14. lol where are the people that usually ask for realism now? they should be asking for females character to be property of their fathers or husbands. for realism sake. but yeah seriously,make all spells accessible for everybody. i just have to say that it does matter if you are vegetable or mineral,dont want people making corn swords,or zinc meals.

  16. and why exactly is it that gms have to keep a the results of support cases secret? because someone at the begining decided that was the rule and now its just how its always been? i dont see what would be so wrong about having a griefing subforum where gms post the result of cases so we know who was really griefing and who was accused falsely.
  17. the things like lists of deeds,deed descriptions and players pages have always seemed like absurd waste of space.has anybody ever read any players or deeds wiki pages other than their own?
  18. what should the oficial stance be in removing old information vs. adding lines that say "this is not true"? when i see a line on any page saying "this is not true" after something that either used to be true and changed or was never true,my reaction its to delete those lines and just leave whatever is true. but maybe there is some reason to leaves outdated information i dont know about. i never understood why people ever does that.
  19. i just change the table for a new one that used yes/no, hope everybody likes it, just need someone to fill the charmable information because i dont know it. if people dont like the new table i saved the code for the old one

  21. right now there is a "helpful players" page that is linked from the new player tutorials pages. seem like some of those people are self appointed and not exactly helpful,some are long gone,or sold to other not so nice players. http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Helpful_People
  22. i think if instead of red and yellow fillings which may be confusing we can change that to yes or no it would be much better.
  23. now that there is people officially regulating the wiki,something that bothered me for a long time its when i see people sending new players to the beginer tutorials section knowing that most tutorials there were made betwen 2010 and 2012. http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Tutorials in my opinion what the wiki needs most its some kind of removal process for outdated and obsolete content.
