  1. So i have heard about people who lost their named recipe being unable to claim new ones because game still registered them as having a named recipe, will everyone who claimed a namable recipe after the wipe get that problem now?
  2. Well if you're open to suggestions, its likely that you're planning to destroy the pavement on the old highway so that the new piece of road you made, which we really dislike because weird bends like that prevent people from just turning on autowalk and going AFK, they're also quite tedious to follow through on wagons. It would be much preferred if you instead of forcing traffic through that bend, tried to just make the land you already claimed more attractive buy asking potential customers what they would like to see there to form a general view of the taste locals have. Frankly, this course of action is merely a speculation because you refuse to be transparent about which "improvements" you plan to make, and it would be much appriciated if our fears were proven wrong by a proper plan turning out to be something we'd actually appreciate seeing, or at the very least be neutral about, which would be an improvement already.
  3. i find that quite dubious coming from someone who never talks with anyone actually living on the island outside of these forum threads where all of us make abundantly clear you don't.
  4. so let me get this straight: because we had to vote for the right to decide how our own spawn looks its no longer a spawn? or is it no longer a remake because we had to pick which design was the best for a remake? We do all the time, as i said, we pass through your deed when we travel around, though ultimately, when you're on an island, you tend to use the highway for inland travel between other deeds on the island and the boat for traveling further away because its faster.
  5. I mean, its not really like we visit your deed for any other reason that the thing being right on top of a public highway
  6. We would like you to, but all we ask is to just try to discuss it before you go breaking other peoples stuff.
  7. Yeah a new forum profile, really good for keeping a low profile if everyone can spot the VIST US AT GLASSHOLLOW MARKET sig from a mile away it was, we've gone on for 3 days and you've yet to give a proper answer to that.
  8. We've been boycotting their markets for years, their implied target demographic of fresh noobs spawning at the deeds they build markets next to are, frankly, generally broke because they only just spawned and investing real money into silver just to buy basic tools isn't quite a standard practice if anyone did it all. This market is completely nonviable from a financial standpoint, the only reason to keep this farce going is to pretend they're our saviors for improving everything while effectively they're restricting highway access for the deeds around by forcing as many uncomfortable bends into the road as possible redirecting them through their ghost town. If they had the social capacity to discuss their changes with locals and work together they might have been the good guys they're pretending to be but all they're doing at this point is just vandalizing public infrastructure under the pretense of improving it then getting super toxic when asked about it.
  9. i'm sorry......What? So let me get this straight, you build this scamming spot right next to a starter deed with the opinion that people should only be around if they're paying you? I'd say don't build on a public highway if you want that kind of privacy.
  10. I find the first design rather cluttered, while i do appreciate it as a work of art it doesn't look very functional, nor does it really represent newspring. Renates design is truly wonderful, it towers high into the sky yet it feels at peace with nature, really blending in with the surroundings instead of looking like a chunk of concrete jungle has been misplaced. I do have my doubts on the whole thing where i come back from break to see a poll is in place just to let people living in the area who know the region well and have to deal with the starter deed on a regular basis design the thing instead of some artist who can do a nice job but doesn't have to put up with it if it looks really out of place and locals dislike it.
  11. Yeah my semi-workaround is to grab presses equal to my max queue (4) and take 7 times as much fruits (28) or 11 times (44) for olives and cherries but it's not really much of an improvement and comes with the drawbacks of only processing batches of 28/44 items per batch, having to empty every press individually and not really being affordable to get every enchantment 4 times. Indeed we should have either a option to have it automatically funnel into a bigger container if set up correctly or trample large amounts of grapes inside a huge tub for mass production.
  12. Sorry for lackluster maintenance everyone, marginalized my activity for a while due to social life being rather demanding, i'll be contacting all sellers listen to check up on potential changes in stock, pricing and activity in meantime (kinda hope people will come to me with stuff like that but would be rather hypocritical to put the initiative at everyone but me, especially after just coming back from an unannounced break from forum myself) my apologies for any inconviniences i might have caused.
  13. While i do agree with the general thought im starting to get the impression you think 90% of trade is dominated by pvp...........
  14. Well yeah was unsure how much FC would put in but even at 50-60 for wagons, tents and lowest sellable imps its more marketable than being well equipped to sell bulk fruit, then again i'm currently earning most of my money on cooking lately, about 9s vs 1.4s i earned by only finding buyers for wagons among the people gettinf alliance discounts
  15. Think good niarja skill ranks are also kinda useful to the extend they reflect skills you trained in are pretty much the stuff almost everyone ends up grinding intentionally or unintentionally at some point. https://niarja.com/skill_compare/kaasbaas highly doubt my account would be worth even half of the 6 months premium spend, but i do know my forestry is probably a big chunk of total worth
  16. before rest of the topic i would like to note that i am not 100% if this is the right subforum for this thread but it seemed the best fit because it does advertise fine carpenters interested in selling PMK wagons. Wagons are a pretty interesting aspect of wurm, they're the biggest land vehicles around, and at the cost of some vision and maneuverability the most reliable way to move bulk across land. Besides that they look good and can kingdoms can submit their own skins for them, such especially good looking wagons can only be created by members of the kingdom. This had led to some people to collect different wagon, this activity will be the main focus of this thread. While i am not a collector myself i did decide to seek out which skin i'd like most for my personal wagon, and i was surprised to be completely unable to find any forum threads of wagon collectors sharing their collections or the like that i could use to choose which wagon i wanted, thus i decided to set up such a thread myself with a slightly more ambitious intend: not just cataloging how wagons of various kingdoms looked but also listing fellow carpenters willing to create such kingdom wagons on demand for a listed price (including or excluding delivery fee and/or situational discounts on a case-by-case basis) as too offer a global place where collectors could find most designs in one place. Anyone who takes orders for kingdom wagons can contact me (preferably pm to kaasbaas or my forum profile, though reply to thread would also work) your kingdom, pricing and image link to provide screenshot if wagon for your kingdom isn't on list yet and i'll add it to list when i have time Apocalypse Order sellers: kgorski, 20s, pick up at their deeds on freedom, at market on indy T18, and market on xanadu E25, and delivery to coastal areas Freedom Isles Sellers: kaasbaas, 1s pickup, generally made ASAP if not stocked but discounts will be given if i'm delayed (grape harvest, RL stuff, ect.) i didn't bring up beforehand Crusaders Rudie, 10s, Pickup C19 Black Keep, Celebration Mclavin, 10s, Pickup C19 Black Keep, Celebration Xallo, 10s, Pickup C19 Black Keep, Celebration Horde of the Summoned sellers: Legion of Anubis Sellers: Hexd (Iberis on forum): 15s, Pick up is on coast of Deli (p20) or on coast of Cele (t12). Pandemonium Kochinac, 8s, free coastal delivery Valhall Descendants platinumteef (forum)/Mondain (in-game), 15s Clova, 15s Wurm University sellers: Spyte, 10s, free dilvery to any coastal area Tedzogh, 10s, free dilvery to any coastal area Disbanded Kingdoms Unlike the other wagons where i aim to list only people who can make them to avoid any shenanigans with people running out of stock and PMK carpenters getting angry about the competition from outside kingdom, wagons from disbanded kingdoms are still listed for the sake of keeping a general overview of wagon designs and occasionally showing people selling these legacy wagons. Black Legion Dreadnaught Dynasty Hexd (Iberis on forrum): 20s, free delivery Jenn-Kellon Sellers: SmackedDown, 15s, delivered to coastal areas Mol-Rehan Kochinac, 20s, free coastal delivery
  17. +1, like the spin on the idea, maybe both could be introduced with the horse harness removing need for body strength while pulling it by pure manpower would be desirable for places where horses can't go
  18. Hi all, pretty new but wanted to get more involved with forum with an idea that has been on my mind for a few months already: Allowing players to activate a rope to drag any item given they have the permissions to push/pull it, similar to hauling them up ladders. While the main driving force behind the idea back when i got it was new players being completely dependent on village members or friends to get anything done involving loading/unloading, a situation that lasted ~3 months for me, focusing on body strength grind at times but being busy with all sorts of stuff like cooking and carpentry as well. What inspired me to actually get to forum with the idea is when i again found myself disappointing such a intuitive action wasn't a supported feature reworking my interior design at body strength 26 proving that it was in the end more than "just" some convenience presumable coming at lower BS requirement that i would have liked to make stuff easier on really new players back when i was that fresh. This is because loading/unloading is dependent vehicles, which are not good at subtle movement, especially the wagons needed for floor looms and filled bins, i'd much rather tie a rope and drag my looms, ovens, forges, ect. to their location then using move commands to nitpick on the very exact placement. I'd say a body strength requirement for this would be fair, but not as high as actually being able to lift the items of the ground onto a cart/wagon/ship instead of just dragging them. 22 feels about right for me, decreasing the gap players have to cross before independently moving their furniture without spamming push commands, whilst still being somewhat comparable to the 23 for lifting such items onto vehicles.
  19. -1 to de-valuing actual effort, i'm pretty new to wurm and you don;t see me whining about how unfair game is to experienced players outside of anything involving uniques, i just play the game and work myself up to that level. Would +1 idea for something like a sawmill functioning similar to a still because it would fit wurm theme and make the most monotonous work more bearable, but can't see fully automatized characters in general work out in any good way
  20. I think you are missing the point that balancing of drop rates is directly related to how accessible the hunts are: if a dragon dropped enough materials for 2 sets of armor but could only be killed once per year it would boil down to the same rarity of dropping enough for 0.33 sets of armor and being killed every 2 months, the difference being in how big portions per slaying are and thus if a single group would get those 2 armors or if 1-6 groups would get fractions of those 2 sets over the same time-span and need to buy or trade for the rest. I do agree that potions being useless is kind of a letdown, and it would be a great solution to switch those and the duplicate potions out for skill potions both changing the argument of "Which dragons are worthless" into "Which skills are the least worth getting the potion for" and increasing the variety of skills that have potions available for them would be good; But in my opinion when 2 problems are equally important, the priority in fixing them should be given to the problem that affects a larger amount of people, which will once again bring us off-topic into the problem of accessibility of hunts being an issue. Don't really have an opinion on this one, only learned about them recently and while i consider them pretty cool i do not consider myself knowledgeable enough on sorcery to make a proper argument One other thing about the drops that no one has mentioned yet is the meat, i am curious about this because there seems to be no market for it at all while everyone looses their ###### over the other drops, and i can understand that because meat in general is so easy to get that it's not worth bringing it up in trade but for the sake of cooking recipes requiring specific meat types it kinda bothers me but i have been afraid to put a serious effort into finding a seller because of the reasonable chance to find out it's out of my budget because slayings are mostly locked of to people fully aware that the drops are rare enough to drive prices up.
  21. +1 While i agree the drops for drake hide sounds pretty bad, the extend that everyone here gets shamed as some jealous slacker if they don;t just set up a party and immediately succeed in finding a unique kinda strengthens the idea that hunting is a 1~2% elite that doesn't have a job or the like to limit their time to search for the uniques that haven't been penned away somewhere out of reach because some smug douche decided it would be cool to have a dragon living in the cave in his backyard i admit that i do not have the skills to properly participate in a hunt but besides from having a relatively fresh character the main reason for that is that hunts are so impossible to get into as a fun gathering just for the sake of attending a exciting community event it's not worth my time to focus on fighting just to face the same issues
