I first started in 2008 or 2009. I was introduced by a friend at the time and found Wurm to be very mysterious and intriguing. I remember I lived with Elwood at his place on Jenn-Kellon Home. I was probably 11 years old and I'm 25 now. I didn't get into it much at the time because I was a kid with no income and my parents had an aversion to buying anything through the internet, so no premium or any currency. On top of that, the same "friend" was kind of a bully to me.

Harmony is still a lil laggy but its not that bad and I haven't had any other issues otherwise. Good job

Find a neat looking spot on the map with a buddy and either get to the spot and settle there or die several times trying to get there. you know, classic Wurm.

Boats can be hugely useful even just for use on a single server. I find it quicker and more pleasant to travel by sea than have to traverse hills and mobs on land paths. However it wouldn't surprise me if they have some sort of redundancy plan in case one server becomes too overpopulated. I think Wurm will do well on Steam but I don't think that will happen soon.

Lovely trailer. I think that this will be the start of the new chapter of Wurm. That underground city looked amazing. I didn't know it was possible to build something like that in game yet. Wurm has come a long way since I lived with Elwood on JKH.

No offense to the person who suggested those names but I am glad they will not be the actual names of the servers. At least hopefully.

Heartland is kind of a weird name considering all of the servers are islands. Would be a good settlement name though. Don't know who suggested it but in the original thread someone suggested "Ferocity" for PVP and "Fellowship" for PVE. Love those and they fit in with the names of the existing servers. And the alliteration sounds nice.

Lusitania kind of makes sense because it's the name of a Roman province that is now Portugal.

I opted for "Perseverance" which is the name of the Mars 2020 rover that launches 4 days before the Steam launch on the 20th.

Have been trying to spread this news around reddit to attract some players. Got really p!$$ed at a guy trying to say WO is a "P2W" game because you can buy in game currency. Also saying that WU was "abandoned". God forbid Wurm's developers try to earn something for their hard work. Love you guys and excited for next month!

When will be shown what the map looks like? I am very interested. I hope its not Xana sized. I think it should be around the size of Indy or Chaos.

I'm impressed! Some nice QOL tweaks. I think once these changes are in game we will wonder how we lived without them

I have a suggestion. What if at certain skill milestones you get some time shaved off of the timer? For example if you reached 20 carpentry you get a bit of time shaved off of the timer for making an item that uses carpentry, and perhaps a bit more time removed at 30 carpentry, and so on. It would make it more rewarding for the players who have invested a lot of time into those skills.
