Hi there! Quick -noob- question, I don't even know if this type of question is even allowed, but: Is this really really big and beautiful market privately owned? Did someone make a deed, terraform and build EVERYTHING from 0, and is currently paying the deed tax of something so big? If so, is the owner still around? And how does he keep funding the market? Does it receive a different price considering it's a "public good"? Does the owner charge a % of the sales from the merchants? Thanks in advance, A very curious noob.

Did all you mentioned again. It still doesn't work! Wtf? It keeps telling me that the reason of the failure is that the game can't connect to the update server, but is it normal for it to be down for so frigging long?

Back after a few days. Yesterday or 2 days back it worked again, but now I open it and and it doesn't! Any help?

I only know of the installation folder that I put on my D drive. Is there any other folders that the game installs that is not on the installation folder?

Please move if necessary. Hello there! It's been 3 days (or so) that I'm trying to play wurm, but I can't. Every time I open the launcher, it says "Downloading 0%" and gets stuck there forever. I've tried pinging the server updates.wurmonline.com, because I saw that somewhere, and it doesn't ping back. Maybe the update server is down? Anybody has any idea if this problem is on my end, or it really is the server? If it is on my side, what can I do? All help is appreciated! Kuddos.

Hello there m8! I'm the vice mayor of a village called Mount Jericho, on E21 in Xanadu. We're a pretty new village (At least up here, we had a deed down south of Xana), and we don't have anything up and running yet. We're setting up on the are of an old deed that decayed, so we already got a pretty good 40x40 flat surface. If you're willing to join a village with a lot of cool people that are willing to help and you want to help construct an deed from zero, you're more then welcome to join. Probably not hard, since roofs are just decoration. I don't see much coding needed done in there. BUT THEN AGAIN, my knowledge in coding is so extremely limited, I might be talking complete bull**** here ^^.

This is a question of opinion. Of course, I understand your opinion, and kinda even share it, but I really, REALLY doubt they'll do anything about it. The time you spend on making things is what creates the feeling of satisfaction when you actually finish it, and I'm sure people that play constantly don't mind the long timers.
