  1. It's not a bug but travel/exploration related. We could use another camera setting in 3rd person view, that would be even more far from player, for travel on wagons and ships. Currently, second view is almost in wagon.
  2. Best summary of the topic, but I'am sure it won't be seen this way by the most of pve folks. Also, in this topic, many times people were pointed to pvp if they "want to steal etc". I'am playing my whole Wurm time on pvp, and most dramas about lands, items, horses, vehicles, horses, uniques killing I have heard from pve topics.
  3. I do not recall it was possible, at lest not on Epic home server.
  4. But lockpicking literally would gave people possibility to move those. If someone wants to clear area for his deed, or just do not like some trash in his area he would be able to remove the clutter. Of course people do not clear abandoned deeds from carts and stuff on daily basis. If they just explore, scavenge or pass by, it would be a waste of time so most won't. I have suggested some time ago void mechanic to get rid of abandoned vehicles and boats with ability to reclaim those when owner come back. I think it's a good compromise.
  5. I collect a dirt. A lot of dirt.
  6. Just ctrl+c ctrl+v of my thoughts from the other topic: Very good video, but it's Josh, so it's kinda obvious. For me, it's a good reminder of things, that I have forgotten or get used to. - How hard it is, for new player, to do anything, and worse, how much time consuming. Players with good accounts dig, mine and build in seconds. - How many clunky animations, no collision with objects and many other poorly done things it has. I think, we all just get used to it, after all those years, so we practically do not see it. Every developer of Wurm Online should watch this video for sure.

  8. Collision with the trees is not based on tile borders, and those could be in any part of the tile, so I guess it is possible for diagonal walls working as a line of "trees", but just guessing.
  9. Yeah, why they even added crafting window. It was a pleasure to scroll through all the menus to craft something, not an easy task for sure. People are so lazy.
  10. Is this some kind of step towards some bigger changes for Epic or just a nerf?
  11. 41 currently , but in my head like early 30's max?
  12. Looking at rewards we get from rifts, should be not 3 or 4 phases but one and only phase shoud be enough. If you afraid that in this case people would farm rifts too quickly for lumps, then just extend time between rift spawns. Rifts are boring, time consuming, poorly rewarding and leave some scars on the land. And you cannot even get decent skill from fighting mobs.
  13. It's because game reloads all the textures when season is changing. To avoid this, there should be two versions of each texture. One that looks the same in all seasons except winter and second that looks the same in all seasons. Let's say 1 has snow in winter, 2 hasn't. If player pave something in completed house (all walls and with roof/any floor above paved tile), then game uses normal texture (2). If player pave something outside of completed house or in incompleted house, then game uses modified texture (1). If house got modified and ground is already paved, then: - changes texture to 1 if house became opened (or roof/all floors above the tile removed) - changes texture to 2 if house became completed with roof/all floors above the tile Those two checkes could be done only when house is modified (removed/added outside walls, roof or floors) to not stress server with constant checks.
  14. There were many players, retired and active, that left Wurm and went to Life is Feudal, when it started. Generally LiF players were aware of Wurm Online.
  15. Hello I know it's almost necroe but I think it still could be nice for quality of life of any Mayor...
  16. Would need to make some measures but I believe my highest place is something like 4,3k above the ground + height of the building. Also ground is probably over 3k above the water level. So it would be more than 7k above the water level, assuming that ground is really above 3k.
  17. I have my nearest water tile in the middle of bridge that is over 4000 slope above the ground, and it works! I just drop fountain on bridge to fill it. So would be nice to add a posibility to create water tiles, couse this is always a struggle when area isn't just big flat place. +1
  18. I guess easier would be to cancel prizes of those who still not claimed the money and gave them silver in-game.
  19. I guess there will be no overhaul or rework in the nearest future, but skill transfers would be a good start to begin with. Currently we have unfair system, where players outside of Epic can go here, mess around, kill, die, whatever and when they go back to home cluster, their skills will magically go back to previous state. No risk of skill or gear loss, no worries about hiding somewhere, couse you just port back to home cluster. On the other hand, no rewards couse you won't gain any skills or loot, unless it's coins, so you can transfer those to other side through bank system. Just waste of time, unless someone loves to mess things up for others.
  20. If those plans are not outer walls then maybe try to add a floor above those plans and then remove the plans. After that you should be able to bash the floor. Not sure tho...
