Would fully reinstalling wurm maybe solve it?

I guess i never thought much of it but... It very rarely doesn't show the gray.

Mounting heads on walls seems like it would be cool, you could make a trophy room! It could be like "[18:06:44] You see the head of a Champ Huge Spider on the wall."

I seem to be having a problem with Java Web Start, today, when i got on my computer the play wurm, it started updating to Wurm Online 3.1.63 and only got a sliver of the way done and just stop moving. After waiting a few minutes it still didn't move. I then tried to redownload the .jnlp with no result.
