  4. Not sure how it works now, but can't you put it in a trash heap and watch it take damage ticks then pull out right as it's about to break? Somewhat risky though

    *nvm I cant read tonight it seems* Option 2, but instead of just wiping the maps, merge them all into 1 map. No need for homeservers...why add a 'carebear haven' on a PvP game mode?
  6. Could always dig/mine down to the water table Depending on how bridges/3D collision is being handled, this might be a possibility. Wurm is mostly a 2D game being shown to us in 3D representation right now though, so it doesn't work like that.

    Yes, there are too many PvE servers too. The game feels like a ghost-town compared to how it used to be with only Indy. Close some PvE servers, close some epic servers, get the game world feeling ALIVE again. It will never happen though. People have invested too much time/money into their current places and wouldn't agree to letting them go. It would be like ripping off a band aid...briefly a lot of people rage quit, then come back when they realize it is actually what is best for the game. (New players too will see 1 server with 400 people rather than 4 with 100 each and never bump into anyone in local)

    Too many people on epic with different ideas of what should happen. Some want full reset, some map reset, some just want nothing to change. Asking them isn't going to provide any consensus as to what would improve it. *Edit: See below. Everyone has a different idea. Really though Rolf, just make the decision that is best for the game overall. Imo that requires consolidating servers somehow. Right now, a new player joining Wurm sees 4 epic servers, a challenge server (if its running) and chaos, assuming they wish to PvP. That is spreading the PvP crowd over 5 servers...way too many for the number of active PvPers we have currently. Maybe merge/remove the home servers on epic...that's the only thing I can think of, although have no idea how to do it 'fairly'. Adding more features to epic - Others feel left out Resetting epic skills - People feel like they wasted their time grinding Reset epic deeds - People feel like they lost money/silver/time building them Changing Skillgain rate on epic - Others achievements are diminished
  10. This thread is going to be useless...there is already the wiki, just sign up and edit it. A 30 page long list of random rules and mechanics with no organization isn't going to help anyone, especially when people give unclear or conflicting rules/mechanics.
  11. Maybe just make it so rarity wears off after a while, like enchants do? But also increase the rate at which items can become rare to compensate? You could even add on a system such as using gems to maintain the rarity of an item for longer. (Sort of like removing rarity decay by sacrificing the item + gem at an altar, you get back your item with rarity restored and lose the gem..I dunno, would give another use for gems) I dunno...just spit ballin'.
  12. I didn't mean merging them now would be a good idea. It should always have been 1v1 kingdom. Obviously merging them after all these years wouldn't end well What I would like to see is a free-for-all challenge.
  13. I don't get why they ever made it 2 white, 1 black in some 3 way war. Would be a lot easier to balance etc if it was just 1 white vs 1 black.
