  1. I've actually been really excited and impatient to see how this turns out since it was announced. My problem is a lack of time to make it worth the money of maintaining a deed and premium account, not to mention being able to keep up in general on maintenance and skilling up. If I can play an offline single player mode tweaked to be a little less time-consuming, I would happily pay $50 for that and then additional fees for any significant content additions. I never really got into Wurm for the social/online aspect, but rather for the individual survival/building/relaxation aspect.
  2. Thanks for the update; I have no boat yet, but I did luck out and find some clay in the water next to a marsh very near me that I didn't catch before.
  3. Thank you for the tip about the bulk storage bin! I don't have one yet (just a large barrel), so I'll do that next. My location is on an island in the middle of the big lake south of Greymead. I thought it looked like a fun place to settle, maybe eventually go sailing around the lake when I can build a nice boat. Plus I like being in the middle of the map for when I want to go sightseeing in the future! I have some iron, but no idea so far if there's any other resource nearby.
  4. I'm new-ish on Xanadu and found this thread from searching for "clay" in the assistance forum. I read the advice here, but can't find clay along the shoreline near my deed. I'm not above just buying some, it sounds like reading on the forum that there's a way to buy stuff and have it delivered via mail? I don't live near enough to a trader to safely cart things back from the market.
