Do you have a list of impers yet? Put me down for PAS (current skill 94.07). My BS is 97.53 so I won't be focusing on that. I may do some low-level JS/Shieldsmithing grinding as I'm 24-25 in those skills if I get tired of doing PAS.
  2. bumpity would love to find that one last rare cloth shoe.
  3. bumpity... prices always open to negotiation as I've said before with anything I sell... but you have to start somewhere.
  4. These are anything but boring... https://www.wurmonline.com/valrei-entertainment-network/
  5. You need to look at what you wrote in your reply and compare that to what you wrote earlier because I noticed you contradicted yourself in various ways. That aside though, it's irrelevant to my current reply and there's no need to comment on that. I don't think I'm missing anything. It's very simple. Rolf has already made the decision to move WO to Steam and the priority is to breathe life back into WO, obviously. Therefore, since "WU has become a competition against WO" and "WO will never appeal to" you or your "peers, ever" then it's also obvious that continuing WU is like flogging a dead horse that distracts from the main priority that is WO. Assuming WO makes more money than WU and/or has the potential to do so, then WU is a waste of time and resources in my opinion. Of course that is based on the aforementioned assumption on my part. Nonetheless, the bottom line is that this is a business and it has to make money. Furthermore, I do feel that the devs listen to their customer needs/wants to a certain extent, within reason and prioritize what they can based on available resources. They devs have implemented several changes to enhance WO over the years so I don't see how it's been the same for 10+ years. Nothing they have done in recent years has had any negative impact on my personal fun in the game. If anything, it has enhanced it further, in fact to a great degree. Therefore, we can agree to disagree. I feel the devs should put all their time and effort into WO and you think the opposite. That's totally fine. I have nothing more to say about the subject. My heart is staying with WO 100%.
  6. FYI... I sold two of my own priests before I bought these. Furthermore, I'm not using them to sell things (I only sell things on my main) so I don't see how I'm ruining the economy. I don't have massive amounts of alts. I have two. I don't do everything at the same time without relying on other players. If anything, I've bought a lot of things from other players and continue to do so. Perhaps in some cases, what you describe is an issue but it certainly doesn't apply to me or to "people" in general.
  7. I'm not "offended by words" or " looking for reasons to be offended or projecting deeper issues". I'm not "oversensitive" and this doesn't "bother me". In fact, I didn't even know Wurm Online had an /ignore. I thought you could only /snipe someone. Learn something new every day so thank you :-) Now with that aside, this post was merely to serve as just a very simple warning to others that I felt this person was rude and he might do it to others so I thought I'd share some awareness. In the end, it's no big deal and I'm not here to cause more drama about it. In fact, I forgot about this post until today when I was managing my followed content.
  8. COD 89.94ql rare staff, steel (N90 C97 MS94 BT2400) to Neville. Thanks.

My plan this year: 1. First off. It's very simple. I'm not here to complain or cause drama. I'm here to imp and get skill. In the end, getting my skills up IS the reward. 2. That said, I showed up to the lunalong last year and I was working on BS items. I ended up getting my BS to 97 skill thanks to last year's lunalong and impalong. 3. This year, I'm shifting my focus to PAS as my skill is currently 94. I would like to get that skill up to where my BS is before I switch to Jewelry Smithing or Shield Smithing next. This means I do not plan on doing BS imps this year. 4. As my health continues to degrade and I'm fast approaching a 3rd liver transplant surgery, I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to attend this year's lunalong if by bad luck I end up in the hospital ER again. Otherwise, I will be there! 5. Any tips are greatly appreciated for my imping services but definitely not required. If things work out and I'm able to attend on the last day, I will do like I did last year and focus on getting people's rares up to 91QL. 6. I'll be bringing my two priests, Mylulv (Vynora; 100 faith) and Worldtender (Fo; 86 faith). Mylulv will just stand around as an extra body for larger sermon ticks and Worldtender will be in attendance until he reaches 100 faith. 7. If I have time to use my priests to perform some casts, I shall do so but if I'm too busy smithing like I was last year, it's too much multitasking for my taste and I'll probably just help when we're running behind on casting. P.S. I do prefer using a dedicated forge for myself that people can just fill up. That's just how I do things and it's how I did things last year. I focus on everything in one forge and usually I'm busy enough with items going in and coming out that I don't even need to look at the other forges. On rare occasion, I may have to in order to keep working but last year that seldom happened. I worked out of the same forge almost the entire event.
  10. From an administrative standpoint, it would be nice to be able to "scale" the game without having to worry about hardware. I guess that's why Amazon was being considered. Let someone else deal with the hardware infrastructure and focus on the game code. Steam offers potential in its own way too. Personally, I like the idea of being able to manage all my games in Steam. In fact for most of my games, they are on Steam. Adding WO to Steam is welcome from my point of view as long as it doesn't screw up certain things we like about the game now. For example, being able to use multiple toons, purchase toons from others, etc. I do agree though that I was never a fan of WU. I felt it was an unhealthy distraction from WO and that it would only take away players from WO -> WU. For me, I have no problem if the team chose to drop WU altogether and only focus on WO/Amazon/Steam infrastructure and code. Make WO a priority. I agree with that 100%. If people in WU say they can't play WO for various reasons then that to me, is not an issue of WO vs. WU, it's an issue on how best to change the minds of those playing WU to come to WO and enjoy themselves. That said, you can't please everyone. You either want to play WO or you don't. Maybe the team can find ways of fixing up WO to attract those WU players who saw certain deficiencies or things they didn't like that prevented them from coming to and/or staying in WO but that's an issue of "satisfying those players" and you shouldn't have to create a separate game (i.e., WU) just to please those players. It's too much of a burden, I think, on code & infrastructure management.
  11. I've seen twitch streams with more than 5 people watching what you may consider to be "boring". It's not uncommon in Wurm with people who have similar interests. However, at the same time, it's not like the game is providing constant action "like an action movie" so you can't expect your stream to be as popular as say, I don't know, maybe a Dota 2 tournament or something.
  12. I'm already paying for premium on 3 characters (main and two priests). Considering I don't play Eve, I have trouble following this conversation. The two priests would be useless if I didn't pay for premium on them. So technically, I'm paying for them both to be useful and to be able to login to them at the same time. I used to have my own deed but chose to move in with a friend I met in Wurm. In the end, I get everything I want and it's cheaper for me because I don't have to maintain my own deed by myself. My toons are also much more useful because I use my Fo to maintain her stables and farm (humid drizzle, wild growth, cook pizza for her and I), I use my Vyn to enchant things around the deed and what she and I need or if we want to collaborate and sell things, and I use my main to contribute to deed upkeep (if she needs me to) among other services I can provide on-deed (high-level BS, PAS, etc.) Our arrangement works quite well because it's cheaper to work together than apart (solo, maintaining each our own deeds). It cuts my costs and increases my fun basically. However, I still have to pay for premium on 3 characters if I want to be able to use all 3 to their full potential. I pay 16E per character for premium time/silver. That's my own personal choice. Anyway, we are making sure we have 1 year's worth of upkeep on the deed. That way, if either of us have health issues or something, we don't have to worry about things decaying/being lost.
  13. I cannot subscribe to the idea that only ONE can be logged in AT A TIME. For example, being able to heal myself with my priest, tend to my animals/farms while my main is doing something else, etc. adds productivity and fun at the same time. If you only want to run ONE toon at a time go ahead but this idea would kill WO for me at least.
  14. Perhaps you cannot bear being left with bits and pieces but I think the community as a whole would benefit more if you sold all of your items individually. This way, multiple people could enjoy the items you have to offer. If you can't sell it, auction it, if you can't auction it, include it in the final package deal minus all the other things you sold. I don't know it's just an idea. Take or leave of course just a thought that crossed my mind.
  15. I live at E19 (Dunlap Hill) with Phoenixus now. In any case, I'm working on some herds and things would go a lot faster if I could kickstart it. I am looking for the following... First delivery (2s): 3x pure 5-speed ebony horses (two male & one female) without any other traits 1x pure 5-speed blood bay horse (female) without any other traits Second delivery (4.5s): 1x pure 5-speed buckskin (female) without any other traits 2x pure 5-speed chestnut (one male & one female) without any other traits Order total: 6.5s Let me know based on your stock if you can fill this order.
  16. Please remove Applebrooke Ridge. The deed has decayed and is now just a leftover terraformed area. I have moved to E19 (Dunlap Hill) with Phoenixus.
  17. It's very simple, I'm asking for someone to come over and chop 10k veggies to make 7.5s. I don't see what's click-bait about that. I also never said in my post that my offer is set in stone. I'm a reasonable guy and people can always negotiate with me. I never said anything about gathering rune in this post. I know people who have no problem cutting 20k veggies at a time, just none that can help me right now because they are busy. If you didn't want the job, what compelled you to post a reply? It just seems like you're trying to make my job ad look bad for no reason and it's upsetting. I'm not trying to be mean or anything here. All I wanted was a simple job done and I asked if anyone out there would be interested in doing it. If time goes by and nobody seems interested, I'll just close this post and do it myself.
  18. Lol. I never said don't drink. I just was making a point that Wurm Online is yet another form of entertainment. I don't mind spending money on it like other forms of entertainment.
  19. Valid points. As my reply to the previous person it was an assumption on my part that many people would be upset. Perhaps I'm wrong. Nonetheless, it's been allowed for so long who knows what the effects would be of taking it away now. Not sure.
