  1. Since today's update, players on my server are complaining of messed up mixed-grass textures (pile of mixed grass is fine, this seems to effect the display of dropped individual pieces of mixed grass).
  2. Noticed imp'able starter tools here too, not overly fond of the QL of the starter items. We've nerfed their QL a bit on our server, some warning would have been nice. Our newbies are also starting with 0 nutrition.
  3. I have no idea what caused the token selling failure, rebooting the server didn't help, but after a reboot of the machine and it's all working again. \o/
  4. Token Selling; I'll do some more testing, if there was server side log information, I would have provided it, but I cannot find anything in mod logs or server logs, no console errors on the server either. Will keep you updated.
  5. After updating the BountyMod (for paying into bank), any player on the server attempting to sell corpses at the bank gets event errors; [22:21:07] Failed to contact the bank. Please try later. [22:21:07] We failed to contact the ingame bank. You may not receive the 11 iron coins you have sold items for. Every 1 second.
  6. Plenty of people are looking into re-creating the older maps... but alas, no one has succeeded yet or managed to create anything closely similar. These auto-gen maps just aren't the same, they're too smooth and featureless. *sigh*
  7. Trying to breed the new horses on 2.1.0, having some colour issues. Breeding; Two custom6's and get custom 8/9/10/Black - white foal. Two custom4's and get custom 8/9/10/Brown - white foal. Custom4 and custom6, get custom 8/9/10/Black - white foal. Etc. All the babies are showing up as white foals and growing to pure white horses. Am I missing something or being derpy?
  8. Is there a trick to using the biome's 'undo' button, 90% of the time it won't undo an action, so I get stuck with it and have to start all over again, which is frustrating, I've been trying to 'dress' a map for days with no success.
  9. Upkeep is enabled to weed out inactive deeds (which it already is actively doing), with bounty it doesn't take long (30 mins tops if you know where to look, even for new FS level players) to raise a months upkeep. Initial deeding doesn't cost. We'd probably get more traffic if people knew how the server works and just how easy it is to maintain a deed. Take yer' deed phobia's elsewhere.
  10. Can happen if your client doesn't have the mod installed correctly, or there's a fault in the mappings for the client. Do you have the mod installed on your client as well as server? Or have the server installed with the server packs mod + creatures, so that it will give the relevant mod information to a client also running server packs?

    If possible (in-keeping with the medieval theme) to add some extra features to the game; Wind Mills could be used to grind wheat to flour faster, or grind down salt into 'fine salt' portions ( 1 salt in > 2 fine salt out type thing) to add seasoning (+difficulty) to meals), or just aesthetics (blade speed determined by wind), because Windmills, yes? Barn doors/walls would make a lovely addition to wurm. 2x1 animal fence-pen spam is hard on the eyes and I hate using it.

Ahh, I learn so much poking into this modding business, zip below re-add missing smeltery and whatnot items from the WU update, may be some errors in them, wouldn't know, never poked a class file, let alone any form of programming before.   15. Derp, I should have seen it sooner... the 1.6.0 download contains a "mods" folder, not a "Mods" folder - #whenCaSeSeNsiTiviTystrikes. Renamed and fixed.
  16. All the files are in the specified locations, I'll reset the jar's and try again.
  17. 1.6.0 - Similar issue with the cow-zebra the other day alive/corpse not showing right, corpse showing as a body bag, alive showing as a mountain lion;
  18. 1.5.3: I have a Zebra/Cow issue; Re-did the graphics jar repeatedly, cannot get them to show up right. Ocelots, Panda's etc all appear to be loading fine. Any tips?

The scores not too bad, but there is a lot of things I agree on in neg reviews (UI/Combat mostly, and for what the game is, the graphics aren't too shabby on full, just needs some puz'ah in rendering - but hey, isn't there a new rendering engine on the horizon?). No matter how awesome the game is, someone will complain anyway's, especially in today's 'mollycoddled' gaming generation. And yep, KunAlt, what big companies have done to the sandbox genre is appalling, often mis-interpreted. A lot of sandbox mmo's are themepark/open world and have little (if any at all) sandbox aspect at all to them, yet still flaunt the words "sandbox" openly. Start really panicking when the reviews are Mixed or worse, that usually portrays a game you should avoid at all costs. "Very Positive" is good, very good for such an old game.
  20. Halfway through the gen I derped and lost the map actions and there was 'a lot' of undo's, redo's etc. This is my first map. >.o;
  21. Hoping these maps work well on WU! Fingers crossed for release. Spent some time making up this 2048x map, which unless I missed something, includes everything (incredibly rare glimmer/addy).   22. Assuming I can get it working on Linux CentOS in 12 hours (ish), I'll be throwing my server up at Creeperhost.net So hyped it's unreal. \o/
