  1. Hi There, I wanted to leave a post here because it is very often we only remember to review places when we have a bad experience, and not to give positive feedback where it is due. Firstly this is a server that does strictly follow its rules you want to read them before you consider it. If it is to restrictive to you and you come anyway you were warned. I found that most of these rules are rules that all servers should have but no one was around to make sure they got enforced. This server makes sure sure that they are enforced. Some prime examples of what does not happen here. There are no junk piles all over, deforestations all over the place, and you wont log on to find holes all over in your area mined or dug. That was kind of the the scare you off paragraph if you want to be able to do whatever you want when you want. If one likes the style of play that stems from those rules it is a great community. The economy is controlled but money is not hard to get and the starter town is a amazing place to be locked in until you finish your starter quest. Where else do you get to free rent a cabin in the starter town. That's right this is a custom experience server the owner takes the time to set you up in your own cabin. Public mine with dungeon spawners to train. Very interesting mods enabled to make for a overall great experience. I would recommend this server 100% I enjoyed my time here and am looking forward to any new projects the server owner starts in the future.
  2. Thanks for your update Mthec. I am not sure if that fixed It first or me replacing my 7 year old asus did but we are good now. Yeah the map I think was just rough on older computer combined with that issue. Tested on another map and did not have same issue. The desert map I am not sure yet on just a oasis island or building little oasis areas around the water in the desert. Not sure if it will ever end up in use online but the npcs you made give us the ability to add a lot more depth to a single player map.
  3. I think that fixed it. If I have more trouble before I ask again I will try on a different server. The one I am setting up is a tad away from the normal. with only a small island that is not all sand. So not being a computer expert I might start to wonder if my map is causing it and what I was finding is coincidence. Edit, Tried again and it continues, logged gm char back on and with count going destroyed custom trader and the lag counting stopped.
  4. There was a fix suggested to wurm ini file in tech issues that seems to have fixed that I will keep a eye on it. I do need to continue testing the custom trader. I also had a issue when the items were set to instant restock it keep adding to the lag count continuously.     Thanks a bunch I'll give it a shot and test. Edit - So far so good not been able to duplicate it since this fix.

So basically the trader is taking items back sometimes and sometimes not and returning the money to player.

    Thank you both for your time. Sorry been away awhile but I'm back. I did not have replies set to email. Thank you so much. This is kind of for a hardcore experiment like trader purchase of dirt or sprouts. Will allow me to make a starter city that one depends on at start nearly 100%. Likely this will be single player only I can't imagine someone else being attracted to this madness. I will let you know. When I get it going ill post pictures.

    Hi there, I was wondering if anyone that knows the creation of maps could slap together a 4096x size that is all sand. with whatever kind of spawn of clays/peats/moss/tar. one big like least 2000 landmass in center with raised mountain in middle. deep sand like 200-300 to rock level. No grass/forests/steppe please. Would be used for solo use most likely so being public release would be fine with me. Can't find a comparable release like this.
  10. Yeah I hear you thanks. I do like what you did with the server don't get me wrong doubt we will ever get along and I would not come begging but even altagar who was much more angry than I gave credit where its due. Hope the mods hit public one day in some form. They are very nice mods. There were over 8 separate players part of the deed maybe one day one of them will ask phoenix for the mantle and continue it.
  11. I did leave only even figured out I was banned when Altagar was and went to go sell all my stuff to market lol. Only even still replying cause on steam you made up some thing about raiding a pvp deed? when all we ever done in pvp was curse stones or sell some stuff in thekandre. but yeah I see it now I mentioned it being like one of our doctors making a comment to our nurses about the topic and being ignorant how it would be received in western culture.
  12. Did you even read kens post. No one was cheating that was gnomes group. Funny thou i did not even get in on the ###### discussion or anything to do with nazis. but left when he ran all the other players off I did not look back. I only commented on a deedmates review when i got a ban for just being with them. Retrospect he also is citing the reason for the argument wrong looking at logs. the vikings came after the fact. Joke was about a r a p e tool and saying you got to have a good r a p e tool. But i never talked about that either. It all stemed from a joke about a misspelled rope tool but the server owner got hostile when someone altagar .mentioned r a p e jokes were not ok. Either way i recommend avoiding this server because of drama like this. Its a 1x so you will put in alot of time likely before you notice. Its not the first drama with this person its just the final straw i think for both parties. He does not play as a gm just modding and enforcing rules he likes to argue with players constantly and get the last words. Good luck to all those that enjoy the server in despite.
  13. Yeah the guy who runs this server is a tool. good at modding but always needs the last word. Something akin to a troll. I am adding this reply cause I left with a big group he ran off and left it alone, but after you posted this review he banned me for just being a member of same deed/group. so arbitrary banning is added to his list of things he likes to do now.

    Can someone of much smarter mind in editing things tell me how to change or comment out the giving of something directly into inventory after killing something ie creature tokens. My personal server is giving out arena depots on every creature kill. otherwise I love this mod. Thank you sin for the fix. One more thing if anyone is using this mod. should I have the bounty mod that I also have taken out of play? I am only getting bounties on pigs and cows and not on hostile creatures like wild cats bears etc
