  12. There is a very small chance that using a rare or supreme material it to build something will make the final product rare or supreme. If you have 10 Faith, you can sacrifice a rare for a free Refresh. Max food, water, and nutrition. If you sacrifice a supreme, you also get a tiny bump to a random skill.

  16. Actually, I was still wrapping hides after they could be BSBed. This changed within the past couple of weeks.
  17. Previously, you could wrap hides with a woodscrap to preserve them. Somewhere around the leather changes, this got bugged and you can no longer wrap hides. (I'm aware they also go in BSBs.)

Experimentation with this one also showed that one can walk twenty tiles before it stopped showing direction, and it settled almost too fast for the game to even display a one second settling timer. A rudimentary compass, made from a needle floating in oil on a piece of wood in a jar. [QL 79.09] Wind of ages has been cast on it, so it will be quicker to use.
