  4. its pointless and doubt that's even implementable as simply spyglass zooms in further the max area your client renders trees, mountains or any buildings (on extreme settings). For improved graphics it would require your client to render quarter of a map area and given the java optimisation we have that would probably require you to have 1TB of RAM 🤣
  5. Not everyone has time to refresh same topic every hour to see if the bid increased or not. Get a life. You see an auction, you drop what you are happy to pay end of. You win, you win, you dont, some one else does. Same time if the first bid went up by 20s no one is stopping you placing a bid of 21s or so if you want to play with your minimum increments.
  6. I honestly don't get it.. Runes in general are super easy to make and also kinda useless ever since 10% gathering rune was nerfed. Now massive dev time spent reworking complete system just to gain an extra "slight glow" on the otherwise useless item that could be crafted and enchanted way better and way faster in the meantime leaving the areas of the game that are crying and waiting for dev time in the queue for like 10 years...
  7. Yes, we want this. Then we build it and then we realise it only moves 6 km/h speed as its big and bulky and pulled by bisons. Then we realise that every single mob in the wilderness attacks us so we have to kill them as its impossible to outrun them. We also find out that 3rd person view is utterly useless as we cannot see anything due to caravan blocking everything. (10 times worse than a wagon). Time flies and 2 hours playing time later you find out you have travelled about 50 tiles from your deed so you decide to run back instead as you have to log off in 10 minutes.. Sounds just about the content addition we need most. 👍
  8. Definitely. Its so not happening to be stealth/logged off near you merchant waiting for the enemy to spend the silvers and then kill him to retrieve the items to chuck back on merchant. Endless business opportunities.. 🤣 Either way, mailing restrictions make no sense..

  10. Whats the maximum tile range any bush or tree will spread into? Does anyone actually know this or can have a look on WU code, ta. Need to know so i have an idea how wide moss or sand strip i have to make to stop the trees growing in my grass plains

  13. I can bet that's because on Defiance you got a direct "copy-paste" code from Epic. Would explain why people complain Mag is too strong, as if you compare it just from the Defiance start 4 months ago, then it defo feels broken. On Epic god stats were built up over 10 years by each faction and MR being most active made the Mag stronger. Straight copy that code into defiance and you got stronger god to start with lmao. As for the rest - balancing will never work as long as there will be RNG. 2 items total spawn on scenario with 1 being a tile away from Lib? Ofc libila will win in 2 days, same would go for any other. A lot of scenario fates are determined at the very start when randomly items spawn..
  14. firstly, I am MR and always been for the last... emm.. well since 2012. Numerous times scenario was won reaching home tile with items even Wurm was camping it. In not talking for the last 4 months.. I'm talking about a ninja nerf they did to rewards and the rest about 18 months ago, when the valrei became fully bugged after some update and not functional for about 3 weeks, then they "fixed" it and it was never the same again.. Scroll back in twitter 2 years back worth of feeds and you will see that each scenario gave the winners 1 full, 6 frags and 3 lumps, depending if there were more than 10 participants.. What it gives now? 1 full and rest nothing, or 1 full and 5 lumps for people with 30k+ contribution? Anyways.. Balancing is done in scenario. Bring home to win not only items, but collect source too.

  16. LOL, mag is stronger.. yes, mag is strong as there always been MR players doing missions and scenarios over the years to make him strong. Asking to nerf Mag is the same as me asking to nerf 15 year old no life grinder account skills as hes much stronger then me playing 6 months lmao. As for not winning upon hitting your home tile - its bullpoo as that has never been the case. You used to win as soon as you hit your home with enough items, didnt matter whos on the tile waiting. I bet its in the code now as code was changed about 18 months ago, same time as rewards been nerfed and ever since giving nothing or lumps at best if your not top participant, making tome fragments not existent no more

  19. to be fair, now when ppl mentioned improvement ticks.. i haven't crafted a lot lately anyways, but yesterday i needed stone mine door to close freshly opened mine, and upon improving it i had a thought "damn, whys this so slow". i have 99 masonry but i really struggled to imp the door to 75ql and at that point i just gave up and attached it. usually going up to 85 QL with 95+ skills was kinda fast, only then it would slow down and 90+ would start to be slow-ish..
  20. You are right - if I sit on deed in the mine forging - its about 1.5GB. However once I go outside to scavenge, within 10 minutes it rocks up to 10GB This is absolutely unacceptable if they are planning to RIP old UI. It never ever uses over 2.5Gb per client. With the new UI I could not run 3 accounts simultaneously at reasonable performance on a dedicated gaming PC that's just 1y old...

    Probably related to the memory leaks.. insane amounts of RAM being used with new UI lately, easily in the access of 10GB per client making things bad enough on a system with 16GB total, even worse if you got 8...
  24. There will be a huge issue once the old UI will be discontinued. New UI client uses 10GB of RAM while the same settings on old UI takes only 2GB..
