  7. Hello In regards to your comment with the second point: I feel that the GM's do take theft seriously, and do put forth effort to help resolve it. This is from my limited experience. With 850-ish players online on a good night, I think that is a lot of work for a few to handle Issues I request help with are addressed fast, efficiently, and professionaly. I am pleased with the support I've experienced. The key is specificity with things like logs, dates, times. As a dev myself in RL, we need things like that to be effective. Also a positive light and a belief in those you seek help from goes a long way to help with an already daunting task
  8. In Europe, it is mandatory to take a holiday. Many just choose to do it during the summer. In the Nordic area particularly, where the sun only shines a few months a year, summer is very special. I think it is important for them to take this holiday. They will be back to work soon

  11. Hedges are also an issue. Any type of fence or hedge makes me gets knocked out as a passenger. Also, at the same spot on some 2-3 tile-wide roads, right in the middle of the road, I get knocked out. This is on various slopes.

  13. Notes Cast courier or dark messenger on a Strange device while in a cave. Must be 10 tiles away from another turret. Range of fire is ~8 tiles. Attack can be blocked with shield. Can be loaded on a large cart, wagon, or picked up, unless planted. Unable to recast. Not improvable after casting. So you cannot raise the courier cast, I take it?
  14. I like Wurm for every one of these reasons. There's something very special and unique about this game that I have found nowhere else. And...maybe I'm not "sane"...? I'd take one comitted and mature player over 10 temporary and all-over-the-place type of players any day.

  16. Horsing Around

    So, a croc just killed my 5 speed. And, not two minutes prior, a couple trolls killed the horses of a friend of mine, far away in a distant deed (we're on Release). None of the horses were tamed. Is this just coincidence, or.... A creature hasn't attacked one of my horses in about a year and a half, and I've been out and about, if you know what I mean. Is there something going on with the new update, or is it just random chance that our horses get attacked?
  17. The slow pace at the start makes you appreciate the reward of faster actions from skill gain and better tools. I like it that way. :-)

  22. I think winter lets enchanted grass put on a glorious display. I like all the seasons, as each have their place and give the game a well-rounded feeling. Besides - when spring comes, it is all the more beautiful.
