A lot of us disagree with the way certain cases are handled and would like to be judged instead by the gods. A person should be able to demand trial by combat where he or some champion reprrsenting him will fight the staffs champion. The outcome of the battle should determine the verdict. Keep in mind that trial by combat is an actual law in the UK and some other countries.

The horrible lag and disconnects have been "this way since htey added the game". Should we also keep the lag and the disconnects champ ?

Did you just "keep it broken cause it helps us" ? This should not be in suggestions but in server-side bug report. It's obvious that the devs forgot to add the LoS check on the new wall types.

You know battlepaw, even with all those unbalanced features, Chaos would still kick serious ass if people would talk less in the forums and appear more in the field of combat.

Why didn't I play challenge ? I didnt play Challenge because what attracts me to wurm pvp is a long lasting war with longterm goals andI have already Chaos that covers that. But that's just me and I think I represent just a small portion of the satisfied group of customers of wurm online. What is my perspective on it though as an outsider ? Ventures sometimes succeed and sometimes fail. There's no deterministic formula that will tell you when a game setup will succeed and attract players. Most of the time failure, but most importantly success comes unexpected. That's why the most important thing in such ventures is experimenting and pivoting. Experiment by making minimum viable setups that don't waste a lot of resources and when you see them not working, change into something different. Only when a setup seems that it's getting traction allocate resources to accelerate its growth. Going for Challenge #3 would obviously mean a case that shouts for pivot but instead is treated as if it was getting traction while it's not. Try something completelly different, maybe some type of weekend combat arenas like League of Legends or something. After all, pve was a pivot from pvp and it did work quite well

Largest mine system I dont know but the most secure mine systems exist in The Legion Riders and in Kaer Morhen , both Black Legion wardeeds in Chaos.

I've said that before and it becomes kinda a stereotype nowadays. The problem as I've always outlined is that the staff of Wurm Online bounces from one extreme to the other. When they nerf something, they nerf it way too much to the point where it's practically useless. When they boost something, they boost it way too much so it becomes OP. There's no denying it as much as people wanna speak up and bring in shitty arguments. 50% dmg reduction is OP. Never in gaming history had an MMO such a buff/effect. Artifacts are OP. Never in a game history had an MMO a weapon that could 1-shot you. I don't want SotG and Artifacts/Champs removed. I just want things to be balanced. 25-30% Sotg, a little bit less artifact damage, champions are fine, that's why they are champions. Voted neutral, cause by asking for complete removal, you are doing the same mistake I described in my post.

The Black Legion members were busy working on their mainlands and could not attend. The Chieftain, Fangy the Shechief attended the defence alone and was later joined by three alt accounts. I don't think you should target the moderators but the rules. I for example have been given warning points twice for "trolling" and "flame bite" which are some very grey terms. If you say something and you mean it and suddenly a whole group of people rages against you in an epic flame, that instantly makes you eligible for ban and warning points. You should select a list of rules you believe are shady and speak with the HGM or with Rolf himself.

This topic will lead nowhere, but I would like to see a public debate between players and moderators.

The hypocrisy in the chaos mapdump topic is beyond any imagination ... +1 from me. Everyone should have access to newer mapdumps.

I dont know man. I tend to believe that it's bugged. There are days that I manage to get 70 casts and there are days that I get NOTHING at all. Also there seems to be items that they are resistant to casting. I've had 8 fails in a row in a specific item, then switch to another item, all fine then switch back to it and still fails in a row. Very strange thing.

Based on this logic though, if you are progressing slower than the average priest, you are not progressing at all. Infact you are regressing backwards as the average being faster than you leads to nerfs on you.
