can you guide me through both , if its not much of a hassle ? i opened the windows fire wall and i didnt find "wurms" maybe it has a different name ? Opening a windows command prompt and then typing "ping jenn001.game.wurmonline.com" will ping the wurm servers. You should get some information back if it was successful -

I also sometimes get this issues, normally i just restart Wurm and it fixes its self -
