  3. And what's wrong with good old fashioned trees? Trees are great! They are wonderful! They are beautiful! They can even be used to make kindling and fuel for fires! If you have been anywhere close to the starter deeds on the Freedom Isles servers you will soon be enlightened as to the problem, so I shall not bother to state the obvious. =Ayes= Then I might as well, since I live right next to Green Dog. Theres no trees! (at least none off-deed) So move to Epic, we have millions of trees everywhere! And if someone comes and cuts them all down and doesn't plant anymore you find them and teach them to do it next time before life gets very painful for them In the meantime, you (not you, but freedomers as a whole) did that to the place I'm sure, I can't imagine that there were never trees there, so fix the problem instead of asking for an easy way out. When we demolish all the forests we aren't just gonna pray to god for new trees and actually expect that to happen are we? (I won't, I'll be saying "I told you so!") No, we will have to use what precious resources we have left and start using them more wisely.
  4. I was considering suggesting something of the sort, in the same way masters of meditation can teach students to advance quickly. You could write something on combat, or farming, or anything for that matter and provided they have enough mind skill to comprehend this they get a skillgain, or even a bonus to skillgain on that particular thing for x ammount of time. Kinda like sleeping bonus but can be stacked to allow fast advancement up to a hard cap, as Klaa said.
  5. And what's wrong with good old fashioned trees? Yes you have to plant them again, but that's life, you can learn to do that while you are there... that or you can demolish every tree on the server to fuel your fires and suffer the consequences.
  6. Wurm icon be sitting on my desktop, click the website link, save as, move to desktop. Also you can make healing covers, use bandages and make salves. Wounds are covered. As for the PvP idea how would you tell if someon is milita? You spend hours sneaking around and worrying about a village of people only to realise you cannot be hurt as they are pacifists. Keep PvP and non-PvP servers seperate. As for the cart/boat QL suggestion, this I like. The big road can be created easily by players, well, perhaps not THAT easy, but the whole point is that if you want something you make it. The clock and calendar would be cool, but you can just press the 'time' button for that info.
  7. Yeah make gold mines there too! Isn't half the joy trying to find the resources and harvest what you can? Where is the satisfaction when everything is there on a plate for you?
  8. I like this idea, an item that becomes rare has been blessed by a God. This would typically be the chosen deity of the crafter, if they have none then it's random which God chooses to give them power. The bonus given would depend on the item and the God, I do not know what exactly would be good for each thing but I have a few ideas... I'm not sure I understand how this would work. My understanding is that the Priests imbue items with powers from their gods, and work hard to earn favour to do so. What would Random Joe's crafting have anything to do with any one of the gods? Because the gods are everywhere! Seriously though I'm not talking about massive buffs, I mean a small boost to the item of some kind, the god is to give it some flavour, a bit of a blessing, not another enchantment of epic destructive power. Priests are priests, I do not wish to infringe upon their territory, but I think people's choices should have perhaps a few more influences when it comes to just being a follower. +1

    Saddle is decent QL I just hadn't really tested much. Does QL of shoes affect speed or just decay rate? Bridle, meh.
  11. A leather bag that can be equipped on a horse to allow carrying of more items on a horse without the need to tow a cart. Pretty simple I should think and would be really helpful for going out hunting on a horse. Could hold a few larger items perhaps but even just like a normal pack would be good. On a similar note I made a bridle/saddle for my horse and see no effects, I still need to lead it before I ride it too, I figured it would at least negate the need to do that... do they simply add weight and slow it down? If so this should be changed, even if it means they can be ridden without leading or something.
