  1. Can already do this with regular books. The Deli Renaissance Festival impalong event last year did this and it worked quite well.
  2. There is always a chance that a forum bid is from an alt account of the OP’s. so even if the auction does not allow pm bids, there is no way to eliminate the chance of this happening.

  4. The tool belt fix has made the tool belt number to become really really small and unreadable when you toggle the size to the smaller size. (On 80% UI scale and 125% text size in 2k resolution) As well, when you have a container on the tool belt and you place items in the container, the number that indicates how many items are in the container is even smaller. When using an inventory group on the toolbelt, it is white when it is empty, but turns gray when it contains items. This makes the number even harder to read
  5. I think the wording of the pottery planter change is giving me heart palpitations. Any chance we can get a bit of clarification on what it means? Could you please provide a list of places where they can or cannot grow rather than a single example of where they cannot?
  6. An idea that came up on today’s factional fight stream: Intoxication decays much faster when off line compared to when online. This will benefit those who cannot play as often compared to those who can play all day. Can also possibly make it so the longer you have been logged out, the faster it decays where you only start seeing increases after being logged off for more than 24h or so.

  8. At first glance, I am liking these changes and I can't wait to try it out to see how it feels. I as well would like to know some numbers. For example, the 5h to get to full toxicity, is that with full caffeine and will scale to be longer if you use less than full caffeine? Also, will toxicity decay in ticks? If so, how often will those ticks occur. For example, will it be once a day you get a 20% chunk removed from toxicity, or will the decay be more continuous throughout the day? It seem to me that picking coffee, tea and cacao from planters was very low difficulty as they would come out a few points above my skill and only rarely give a skill tick.

  11. Checked this already. Since I worked all day and logged out early last night, it was separated quite well. I did only take a 1g sip as this was still working for giving the 10 min sb. Maybe ill try hopping through the pvp portal and take a full sip

  13. hmm...well, i didnt get a message like this when i logged in and took a sip of coffee (first time today). I got a message that said [17:58:35] The kahvesi has a delicious flavour and rich aroma. but I seem to get that message every sip.
  14. My suggestion is a simple one. Add an event message that indicates that the coffee added 10 mins of sleep bonus. This way its easy to tell that you drank the coffee within the first 10 mins properly and aren't second guessing whether it worked or not.
  15. I believe this is the (current) intent. Each 0.2kg sip should reset the timer to max (based on the ql of the coffee) and add 10 power (in the case of Kahvesi).
  16. Maybe you misunderstood. With the numbers I gave, you would need 2 beans to get 10 sips. So you may use 3 beans per day or so. You would need to consume 100g of coffee to get the full buff. Of course, this could be adjusted up or down to balance it. Could be adjusted to 5 beans required for 10 sips for example. For comparison, with the nerf, currently we need 1 bean per sip. You might need 15 beans per day. In addition, we need to consume 2kg of coffee just to get the full caffeine buff.
  17. Another idea is to lower the weight of each bean or the amount of coffee produced by each bean. Maybe 1 bean is 0.05g of coffee. Then allow smaller sips to work. Maybe not 1g sips but possibly 10g sips. This might bring the amounts to a more realistic level. I feel that it would still need to be able to be drunk at full thirst though.
  18. I agree that the 1g sips was not balanced right. The problem was that 1 bean produced 200g of kahvesi which gave 200 sips. Considering the rate at which we can acquire beans, it would not be long before we had unlimited caffeine. As stated above, the problem now is that by forcing 200g sips, we can no longer obtain 100 power without a near empty water bar. I tried today to use caffeine for a skill grind but it seems after the update it is not possible. I agree with those who have suggested to make coffee/tea/etc the same as alcohol where we can drink it even when our water bar is full. This would bring things to a balance where we would be using a reasonable amount of coffee, requiring us to continue to plant and harvest beans at a reasonable rate. As well, it would allow us to easily keep the caffeine bonus up when we need it for the skill grind as long as we have the caffeine to drink. PS I noticed that a 1g sip is all that is needed to get the 10min sleep bonus upon login still
  19. Is the suggestion to allow me to set my merchant to purchase mats from others for me, then I am all for it. Maybe this could be a new kind of crate that I place down near my merchant, select what mats I want and set a price. Then other players can deposit the mats into the crate and receive money (from my bank). This would really provide an incentive for markets to be used and provide a way for new players to get into the economy.
