I assume those walls and fences to prevent access will be on deed and not used to imped access to those wishing to wander where ever they please. Otherwise someone could take offence to you walling off non deeded sections of such a nice valley, more so with you being a part time resident.

Wow, kind of an anti community view for a GM don't you think? You wont help anyone else because they will not place merchants on your deed? Okay so be it. But I would like to remind you, this is a forum, you know, used for discussions .... I do not want to build a new market, or what not, I was simply stating how this is not working at this time and should be changed. If you would like to represent the game on these forums I would hope you would take a better tone. Also your market is not on the map.. just an FYI As for this Esert thing, Maybe I have only been playing for a few short years, But I will go back to Esert maybe once every 4 or so months, because , well, there is no point to go back to the starting city once you have any skills at all.. Esert it's self is one of the worse locations for both a starter city and market area, no sea access and bad overland, why does it matter if you are 50 tiles from there? Just make sure your accessible to everyone, not the poor penny-less newbies..what is the point of a brand new player spawning near a market? none. I think we need to get a vote going, We need a single (current) market that everyone can reach within an hour, (boat or overland), and is run by a capable adult. Must also be a central location (or we do a single North and south one (aka: Arcanum + Foe) Its not worth anyone's money to have a merchant that only services 1/10th of the population, full or one half is the better way to go.

This is what I mean, we only have to look as far as the other servers to see how it is done properly. My bad Ruiner, as I do not live in that area, I was only able to use the up to date community map to get my information.. it seems that while you worked hard on making it accessible, you forgot to update the map.. This misinformation would be the same that is communicated to all newer players to our server. I understand I might be stepping on peoples toes here, but like I said, I just want to encourage community and not everyone's single player game of super market tycoon III (now with more empty merchants!)

That is the definition of free market, the consumers choose who lives and dies. In no way am I telling people what to do with their deed, I am simply stating the possible confusion to the abundance of markets. Maybe we just need to update the map with the defunct ones (new market) being reduced to deed verses markets. Markets will never replace bulk buying via messages or forums,. but at least a large central market would have the best possible exposure for all merchants.

Hey guys, What is with the lack of cooperation going on with these markets? According to the community map Exo has 6 markets.. and seems that a new one pops up every couple months. Why do we need 7 markets? half of which are near empty, the other half are so far inland or only reachable by sailboat (no larger ships). Following this, is the horrible placement of said markets.. - Arcanum is so far to the SE that its almost useless to 50% of the server (also no overland access) - Silver pearl is in the middle of a smaller island with no boat access what so ever... - New market and Exodus central market are both beside each other and overland only with sailboat only connections (from my understanding) - Port Tanelorn.. is that even a market? Now this maybe an issue with the map, but its also an issue with the fact that with so many markets, the merchants get little exposure due to players no wanting to waste their time looking all over the map for what they need. I know everyone wants to play community market leader, but really people, lets, as the community pick just one. So far, none of the locations suit a proper full access market due to the water access we have.. I need input on this, its getting a little out of hand..

Two new Deeds, Necropolis - East side of x6 y45 Estate of Unrest - x9 y47 on the isle of view, suggest renaming the Isle to Dagnor's Cauldron.

That is not bad FPS for all things considered, I am sure a modern rig would not have too many issues with it.
