  1. @axeblade346, could you send me that broken dump - or describe how it was broken? I can guard against that in the future.
  2. Hi @KionScar, I believe that on steam library, there is one more subdirectory, don't remember the exact name but it will have that configs dir inside. Hi@Stanlee, thanks for mentioning this. Agreed that it needs to be included, though I'd love some science on the exact odds, though I know this isn't easy subject, would need some large scale statistical analysis. Perhaps Granger could be used to track this and then something else used to analyze data? But that is probably something for WA4.
  3. Thank you @Jazand @bunnlose My update plan is itself up to date, starting on monday. I will also try to fix a couple of tricky bugs, some of them reported earlier. Have a long list of everything, just waiting for some free time.
  4. Hi @axeblade346and sorry for replying late. I've tried to fix that horse color bug couple times but it escapes me so far. About the skill - could you describe where/how this issue shows to you? There can be couple problems here. in general, for AH skill to be read by WA, you need to either enable skill dumps in wurm online client or have a skills log message logged somehow eg. after grooming or other action. Also you've mentioned wurm unlimited - for log reader to work, you need to add that server to WA. i can give you more detailed help if I'm given more info to work on. You can start a PM with me here on forums, once we resolve issue I'll post a summary reply here.
  5. Thank you folks for these kind words, it's really amazing to me as well just how useful this tool has become to you and I'll do my best to keep it so in the future. I'm starting my work on Granger update on 7th of June and I expect it to go over couple weeks, split between most critical updates first, then others, then breeding assistant. Changes are so many that I needed to confront it with my other schedules, but all is well now. About patreon - yes, I do have an account already, I was working on putting it on WA website (almost done there, but it will have to wait now). So maybe I'll share it here for now and any beer you fund me folks, will be cherished as it deserves to be! https://www.patreon.com/artizzan
  6. Hi @Bekadorand thanks for bringing in these updates. It looks as if I'll have to redo the whole breeding advisor of Granger - and do many minor tweaks here and there. I think I will split updates, first one will add all new traits, while the second one will affect breeding assistant. @WittleBunnBunno particular reason for such behavior comes to my mind on short notice. Try perhaps removing all skill dumps, then restart both WO and WA, then generate one more faith tick and let me know if that helps.
  7. Thanks @Fengistfor noticing this. Will take a moment to include these changes though.
  8. Hi @Antony- yes it may be working as you described and should probably also work as you described. I will update it. Hi @Squish- same thing happened for me. The link itself works, but not though left-clicking it. I've added a little spoiler under the "zip" download link with an alternative way to download it. (best I could think of for now)
  9. Hi @Tryfaen I think some ending conditions for this trigger are either missing or outdated. May also need to check if start conditions match. Also noticed it fails when prospecting from the surface. You can try messing with them in the app and add manually. Here are some conditions I've picked from the log and game and will test shortly. (the bold part should be enough for the trigger) Start: [08:33:16] You start to gather fragments of the rock. End: [08:34:12] You would mine stone shards here. [17:26:02] There is iron and rock salt nearby.
  10. Hey @Leora Thank you for spotting this, should be easy to fix. Were you working on leather working or tailoring? Or both? If you can, please PM me event log messages describing needle as next tool - will be simplest to test this way.
  11. @Kierkegaard Yes, files are checked for size changes every half second and if any is detected, new content is read and parsed. I did experiment with system file watchers, which are supposedly more efficient - but they also turned out unreliable.
  12. Hi @Kierkegaard, all timers are triggered by log events. Monitoring memory of Wurm client is not allowed. Logs monitor within WA checks logs every half second. Hi @jammerluna, I've just uploaded https://suonerietelefono.com/sveglia-militare/ mp3 into WA and it plays fine. Did you notice any errors or warnings?
  13. Hi @Molten. Next major version of WA will target linux as well, but I can't make any promises as to when it's going to be finished.
  14. Aye sir and sirses! I've had to pause work on page, because I'm behind on other paid project. But will go back to it shortly. And with it, I'm going to open Patreon option. The money will go for beer only, I promise!
  15. @Tomatoes Aye! As soon as there is something to test, I'll send you a ping! Thank you!
  16. Hi @Tomatoes Next major WA version is going to work on linux. Current one does not. This is a big deal to get done, it requires entire GUI to be replaced.
  17. @MaiyaI only suspect for the moment, but I think I know the cause. Assistant first finds all folders at path: configs\, then it assumes every folder is an actual fully working config and tries to read gamesettings.txt. But if file is not there, it blows up. It doesn't break WA, it only makes annoying error spam. Can try fixing this by either making one login into wurm online, using this config, or deleting the folder (eg. if it's empty). As soon as I have a while to hack at WA (busy with other project now), I'll fix this.
  18. Thank you @TeeeBOMBfor kind words and I'm glad the issue is fixed. That gamesettings.txt error spam feels like a bug, I'll have a look at it. I might be able to do something about such backups. There is a system for backups in the app, I will have a look at it as well.
  19. @TeeeBOMB, you may be able to fix this easily with options marked below. Please try them, first "change game client path", then "clear wurm api caches". Reinstalling WA is not should not be necessary.
  20. Hi @Malenaand @Kelody, I think it won't be much work to add that which you ask for. Added to my todo, both ideas. @TeeeBOMByes, you can do that. Note that this will overwrite any new settings, you might have created after hard drive switch. 1. Go to the backup of your old C partition and find: \users\[your-user-name]\AppData\Local\AldursLab (you may need to turn on viewing hidden files, as AppData folder is normally a hidden one) 2. Copy that entire folder to the same location on your new system: C:\users\[your-new-username]\AppData\Local\AldursLab (overwrite everything) Merging settings is possible, but probably easier to set them up anew.
  21. Hey @Fengist After doing a quick research, I could go for making a WP site on dreamhost.com I've used that wordpress hosting before and were happy with it, their offer is very affordable. And actually it's a very good point on Patreon. I've been looking to setup something just like it in the past, but Patreon wasn't an option back then (it were very immature options at that time). Patreon looks great and I think famed beer button is coming back! 🍻 Will contact you via PM once the site is setup, we can work the details.
  22. @Fengistthis looks awesome, great work! 😃 I'm really sorry I did not yet fix the export issue, I'm almost there! I can also add link to your tool to Wurm Assistant, credit and all preserved of course. Just let me know when the link is permanent. I can also: If you could extend your API with a POST endpoint (no clue how to do that under wordpress plugins), I could also add to Granger "export to html formatter" (working name) option, eg. it could automatically upload XML through the request body. I can extend XML if you feel any extra Granger info could be useful.
