Will this cause the Duplicate authentication error? fix it? or is it separate problem?

I recently moved from MN to IL, i didnt have this issue when in MN but when i moved here I am having the issue, and other people are having the same issue. the server is based in the UK Edit: people in UK are having same issue as well

Also tried reinstalling the game, deleted the entire "wurmunlimited" folder and reinstalled it via the steam client it worked for about 6 hours, then the lag and dc continued, altho i do want to point out the dcs and lag is FAR less

For several days not i been having constant lag then dcs (most been the Duplicate authentication error) but sometimes i dont get that error, Most of the time i come back, and i cant move, and NOTHING is loaded around me, all i see is blank terrain, Sometimes i wait a few and it loads, others it doesnt and i have to try again. mostly i try again. Re-logging for /lotime doesnt seems to effect it. Keep in mind i cant move and as u can see my UI is loaded. Any idea whats going on? Here is a picture of my surroundings on one occasion:

I keep getting dced, it keeps saying this: I dont have duplicate games running, that i know of. so not sure why this is happening.

Is the server down? I got online this morning, then all of a sudden it crashed and said "connection refused" now its not turning up on the server list? nvm server was screwed up

I am wondering what you mean by "Bounties for killing creatures." Does that mean you cant kill creatures for exp? Or does it mean that you get silver from killing them?

how do i download the latest WU patch then?

i was able to plan a regular staircase. after i made the floor you suggested. but it still doesnt give the option for a spiral one.

I am trying to make a stone spiral staircase. my first one. It wont give me the option. I have no floor planned on either the top or the bottom. No matter which way i try, the option doesnt come up. i have a trowel activated. and right click the ground. What am i doing wrong?

Can anyone confirm that 4 is slow? i have a slow troll mound. i have two mounds one is Aux 4 the other is a raging one, in fact is 4 as well. so not sure whats up there. both are spawning, one more then the other #overrunwithtrolls confirmed it my self: 4 is slow, 3 is raging so no wonder why i have more trolls then i know what to do with. i have two slow spawns. and one raging right next to my deed

Anyone know how, or which program i can use to make a video of wurm? Prefer free, but low cost is ok. Looking for your suggestions please. Thanks.

I was testing out the wagons today. I created 4 of them in GM mode, and wanted to see if i could change the kingdom colors on them. I ended up with four separate kingdom wagons. Here is how: That was all the colors I could find. I went all the way up to 5 in data 1, and it wouldn't go past 3, Good luck! Hope you guys find this useful.

I restarted my server again 2 days ago, i been noticing that when i restart or close down my server. and come back that animals i put in my pen arent there anymore. also i deleted my guards. and they are still showing in the game. but the deed shows they are gone. and it wont let me hire more. says i need more money in my coffers. which shouldnt be happening since its a perminant settlement?.. Anyway how do i fix this, i cant collect animals at all. they disapear. i believe they go back to where i got them.

ya i noticed a fourth, so i deleted the spawn, and the dragons. they were too close to my deed. i didnt feel safe. i will add them again faaaar away from my deed lol Edit: still having trouble with the other spawns, only ones that have worked so far are deer, dragon, and hell horse. which arent spawning much at all. i am trying different kinds

ok, just made a red dragon lair. and its spawned 3 so far. within seconds. i will duplicate the stats i did. except for what the animal is ofc. and see if it works

You can only have one type of creature on your server at a time? aka, only one greenish uni lair ect

i didnt actually servive, it looked like i did. but when i relogged i was dead. But that is a good tip. i had to restart my game again, i had some issues. i would restart the server and end up 50 tiles away than where i logged. also animals i put in my pen would pop out as if i never gathered them when i log back on. so ya now im not messing with stuff anymore lol

I just made a greenish brown bear spawn. which just spawned one. Are there limits at all? like between deed>lair, or lair>lair. How does renaming them effect them after you set the stats?
