  1. Longer timers would be fine imo. Some farmers that are trying to market their crops should speak up.
  2. -1 for me. I think it would kill.... well already almost dead, crops market. It would be too easy to farm crazy amounts of stuff.
  3. Answered only a few qustions, because I've enever been much into foraging. However, I like nodes only, and only for visuals. Old system was far more practical and player friendly. Both for new and vet ones. Just like fishing change- i apreciate all the work, but i prefered old one. I did like to spend some time, that i had spare and I had no idea what to do- on brainless fishing. Since introducing new fishing mechanic i've never caught a single fish. I turned in fact to yoyo and puppets and I'm very afraid that even this will be removed or reworkd at some point. I hope it won't. We have like a tooooon of skills in Wurm. Some more, some less important. So considering amount of very different skills, it seems to me logical to put among them some brainless/ afk things to grind. I don't like the Idea that we need EVERY skill requiring same amount of steps/ work/ time. Especially if the skill itself is next to be useless. New nodes for me personally, I don't wanna speak for others- could be just limited to new visual additions to tiles. Nothing more.
  4. Not my case tho. I played for years in Tarkov, before that NewZ/ Infestation with full loot and for me it was only adding positive thrill and adrenaline. That was ultimate fun and reward, to drop a guy and loot his rare, unique weapons/ skins, armors and ammo. Such "big prizes" were compensating everything you lost earlier, were making you not even care about stuff lost- even if in total was worth much more than loot you got. I'd say otherwise, full loot mechanic is great, but as i believe- in Wurm what's in pvp, stays in pvp which sounds kinda as limitation but at the same time is understandable. Also this kind of games makes a hard bottom line that you can't pass, but up there, sky is the limit. If you lose everything- then you have nothing more to loose and you can only gain, and you can gain as much as you want/ can. In some terms, you can only gain in longer go.
  5. What stops me from PvP? #1 Lack of PvP friends/ groups that I'd know #2 While I know very well potential risks (and I agree with some of them as skill loss that would hurt me), I know very little about potential gains. Beside fun and cool stories of course. In other games I have incomes or move forward, or I simply improve statistics. No idea about Wurm in this matter. #3 Time that I can spend on Wurm is limited and variable. Sometimes i can play for hours, sometimes i can do only basic chores, sometimes can't play at all for long time. And I believe that PvP require regular interactions with your group in order to achieve common goals. So I'd have to spit my time between casual Wurming and PvP wurming. #4 I'm not a bad PvE fighter. Got way above 90's in FS and weapons skills. But I did grind mostly PvE weapons, lacking experience in more competetive weapons. So vision of yet another "side grind" makes me sick.
  6. As long as it's craftable and adjustable, not force paid it would be fine. EDIT: Well, there might be paid version as well, but only as optional "skin like" variant. Beside regular, craftable one.
  7. So, nodes are out. A quick guide "how not to" 1. Spend months on non crucial update, (while so many things are falling down) that introduce new area visuals and reworks actual mechanic that many people already enjoy for what it is. (Well, pretty nice visuals tho, I admire them and many others do as well.) 2. Then force these visuals on people deeds, so it doesn't even matter if they're pretty or not, because they're just annoying and destroys many deeds. (So first point doesn't matter anyway) 3. Make people pay to remove new visuals. Is it the right and correct way of making things to keep people around? There's still no need for ingame pools about upcoming changes?
  8. lol, this. And air polution tax for every forge you own at the deed. Otherwise there will be a fog on whole server.
  9. +1 I didn't even think that would be the case of this update lmao. Or otherwise if I have to pay Templar for cleaning the deed, name him janitor templar LOL.
  10. Goodbye

Take care on every path you'll take. I didn't know you in game, but it still makes me sad to see people go. You've been and you are part of Wurm's community, Wurm's history, so don't worry, your ingame friends will carry you on. With sharing memories and stories about you. I don't know if you'll get back, but you'll be always welcome, as everybody else. Here in Wurm, we're not only gaming community. We're gaming family, and that is something that no one and no game change will ever take from us. Good luck O7
  11. And THAT is one of the main topic goals. To make Wurm's staff hear us, talk with us again. Years ago, staff members and developers were actively taking part in our community. They were playing, talking on forums, suggesting things and responding to suggestions. That's no longer a thing and this makes me very sad if not upset. I'd love to feel Wurm officials as a part of our community again, but I simply can't. Now there is very wide border between "us" and "them". And sadly i have to admit, that Wurm's Community Manager does pretty terrible work. It might not be Army problem at all. I don't wan't to believe that Army ignores us just because. I believe Army have guidelines "from above" how to speak, when to speak, and best to not speak at all with us.
  12. That's simple: 1. Because I had people to play with here. 2. Because i didn't want to start with fresh toon and leave my deed here. 3. Because it was impossible with my toon to start on NFI (balance matter that no longer is a thing) 4. NFI- ers start on NFI mostly because of steam, which was pointing toward NFI. And vet players that moved to NFI mostly moved there to encourage new players and to enjoy something new. And why opening servers is a good thing? Long story short 1. It no longer separate players in already small community (which was needed years ago, but no longer) 2. It doesn't require from anyone to start from nothing again 3. It allows both NFI and SFI players to discover and enjoy new lands, found new deeds, meet new players 4. It allows PvPers from both clusters to cross their swords 5. It gives possibility to create new communities 6. Fact that people mostly lives in own deed, not as villagers doesn't mean that they don't need other players. (that's horrible missconception) 7. It consolidates community, pvp, trade, economy 8. Encourage new projects 9. It allows SFI players that didn't want to make new toons to enjoy new lands, and NFI players to see history of wurm, doings of players from years past. 10. You still have your choice to stay outta others. You can live as a hermit and be left alone. But you're just you, and you're not someone in position to take possibilities and choices from others. And now, game takes away this choices from many of us. Because choosing to go over NFI and/ or SFI requires from us some kind of sacrifice, having to leave our old deeds, time, toons, focus, plans. And we can make ten times bigger list, and still some players will add to it. That's not a rockest science. People just want to have a choice.
  13. I can believe that there are certain people who'd agree to drop their home server in favor for improving pvp overally. I mean, they might see that holding a full server for 3-4 persons is just not profitable for overall community. But also there are people who doesn't mind living on empty server and don't want to lose months, years of their work and money no matter the reason. That's probably the biggest problem and concern to the most, that blocks any decisions. Normally it would be best to just leave epic as it is, and see how it reacts to merging clusters and opening for everyone. But Epic dillema will return sooner or later and that's what everyone should be expecting. Whatever devs decide, they can't simply close the cluster and say "I'm sorry, that's for greater good" to people playing there even if there's few of them. There should be heavy compensations like giving back upkeep value + bonus % in silvers determined by how long deed been standing, as well as removing any costs for founding a new deed on a new server (up to the size of removed one) when founding first time. And even that sounds like a joke for someone who played for years on his server, and put so much physically and emotionally into the place. That's tough stuff, so Epic should be just left as it is as long as it can. But not left alone, if devs aren't able to, perhaps community should encourage players to play there. Just loudly thinking, there are no good answers to that and perhaps we're diverting from the topic too much. Thing is, that Wurm's staff should be listening and talking to the commnuity. We can talk all day long, but when everything's said and everyone agrees it still means nothing if there are none Community managers at the table.
  14. You are 100% right. So I've suggested ingame pools for players in this topic. I believe that every player (at least accounts lolder than 30 days or so) should take a part in voting and paving further road into Wurm's future. Pools should be both in game and forum wide. EDIT: But of course, results of voting should be public. Otherwise it might become an excuse for devs. And ingame pools should be also annouced on forum, with dates and time given for voting. Some games does them pretty randomly.
  15. That's just talking for the sake of talking. On other hand one can ask, what are the benefits of playerbase being separated?
  16. Yes at this point it should be taken into consideration, that Epic is perhaps too much to handle. But I'd want Epic players as they feel about dropping epic in favor of consolidated pvp on NFI and SFI. That's interesting stuff. On other hand, merging clusters perhaps would bring more life into epic, than Chaos or Defiance. Actually I've no idea what are the pvpers mood on this matter.
  17. You're missing point on so many things. Merging SFI and NFI- doesnt mean to put them all together instead of Xanadu or something. No, just merge clusters so, as you said people can travel and play together. Not being separated. And so pvpers from NFI could do PVP with SFI players. Don't wipe anything, there's no need at this point. NFI players have enough experienced vets already, who wanted to get his 99 skill- already did. Who didn't won't get anyway anytime soon regardless of being sticked to SFI or NFI. And also don't make another new serwer for PVPers only because it would divide already small community even more. And yes, suggestions are as they are- suggestions. But as a dev if you're hearing such "suggestions" for a year, 2 years, 4 years, 6 years from many players it really means that there's something more behind it. And you should really take on it, consider, plan and do whatever you can to make it happen or officially after 6 years tell people that you don't care or you won't do because of (put any reason) . As someone who runs multiple companies I couldn't look my customers into eyes if I'd shelve their ideas and needs for so long, after so many promises and with barely any responses after that. If something wouldn't work from my point of view, then I'd state it clear and I'd offer multiple solutions, that might be similar to cusomers needs. If you simply ignore your customers voice for so long, that's a business suicide. My customers pays me, so I can live and grow my companies, they require at least respect and respectful answers to their needs.
  18. You Won the auction PM me please to finish transaction. I'm currently outta deed, but tomorrow I'll be back and most likely able to get the shiny Stand to you.
  19. 2 unique players doesn't mean all players i believe. Just as 2 unique logins on forum doesn't reflect logged users. I've been modering forums with 15k users active, 200k+ entries in month but only few hundreds unique logins. Unique login mean- new login/ first time login/ login since XXX (might be 1sty day of month) time, depends on script calculations. No, Pvpers gives the impression of closed community within a game, that is still community of the game. And I'll say it again, I'm not a part of pvp. PvP as far as I remember, didn't get a major update. Introducing NFI and NFI pvp server isn't certainly the one wanted and needed. And no- if developers work (or not) on something for years, then shelve it for another years isn't acceptable. As you said it might be untypical for Wurm, what doesn't mean it should be acceptable and tolerated. I can't even at this moment name another company that would do such thing. (Even considering Star Citizen that I'm following and investing for 10 years). If you're fine with it- that's fine. But you're not the only one playing game. And majority of voices speaks otherwise. And yes, not only PvP stucks. But PvE gets updates every now and then. Smaller ones, sometimes a bit bigger ones, not major ones perhaps. But some, all the time. PvP had when? 2018 yo say? 5 years ago? How many updates did PvE received since 2018 I wonder? And finally yes it must go forward. As well as everything else. I can imagine Wurm's devs limited resources. It's not a Rockstar Studio. But if resources are limited, such as time, which seems to be most valuable, at least focus on right things first. Otherwise they can introduce anything, but it will not get any care or interest, that would bring them income and perspective of future. If majority of folks aren't happy with "your vision" then they won't pay for it, simply. And I'm not speaking only for Pvpers. Skins and broken fixes won't buy you much for so long.
  20. I need to breed some villagers now. Edit: in fact, this is genius. Holy mother of solutions been here under our noses. Wurm's playerbase is declining? Breed new players. Pvp is dying? Breed even more players, some with pvp trait. Pure genius.
  21. Yes, I really hate when some players tells that PvP changes are useless because they won't bring back or/ and keep some players like there would be 10 of you across the board. I bet that there are fairly more of you, just simply not taking a part in more topics and discussions. Perhaps, after 6 years many are too tired of being skipped, not wanting to waste words anymore. Thats not fair, and thats not how game devs act or should be acting. Even worst gaming brands dont let players to wait for so many years.
  22. I didn't say about pvp merge only. I spoke about full merge. And it's not an illusion. Even if only handful of players will return, like 20-30. And only 15 will stay, thats still better than loosing another 20-30 players that have enough of not delivered promises.
  23. Thats exactly what I mean. I don't wanna however underestimate pvp community. Anyway, after so many years without solution, which was promised every now and then. They deserve to be heard. And I doubt that players will get anything less than a merge of Sfi and Nfi as a solution. If that somehow wouldnt work out for pvp players, then at least they would get what they wanted. And nothing will change- beside they needs being forfilled.
