  1. I'll buy two masterwork butchering knife skins, one cleaver and two bearded huge battle axe skins, but I'd like to pick them up rather than have them applied to things. Clocking off for the night but if you can pop me a PM to tell me where you're based and what sort of times/timezone you play, we can sort out a meet?
  2. Ahhh that's lovely to hear! So glad you liked it; and thank you for your shiny coins (which in turn fund my ever-expanding GM-named-creature wildlife park a little way south of it). I've got a little reorganisation of the shops on the way when I can get a solid week set aside, and a bunch of characterful new shops which will come online with it so next time you visit, it might have evolved again.
  3. With a couple more holy sites popping up after a long dry period, just doing this another bump. Would be helpful to know, at least, if the intention is to colour them like the others but it's just not at the top of the joblist right now, or if they were deliberately implemented without colour conditions and are likely to stay that way...
  4. Moreover, some fireplaces don't seem to be snuffable. I snuffed another to move it the other day, but today one of them is refusing to be put out (one of the ones that has taken QL loss through damage repair). Tried it both standing and embarked on a wagon, with steel & flint activated. [00:30:29] A decorative open fireplace which provides light and warmth to those nearby. This is a very rare and interesting version of the item. It is glowing dimly from the heat. It could be improved with some clay. Ql: 21.443256, Dam: 0.0. You can barely make out the signature of its maker, '.ri...n.....'. The fire burns steadily and will still burn for a long time. [00:30:31] You snuff the open fireplace. 5. Only recent patch notes I could see concerning fireplaces was about the lighting effects getting fixed; doesn't seem to be anything about damage though. Is this the one you were thinking of, or has there been another that you know of?
  6. I'll pass on the baskets, thanks; thank you for sending the checker board over!
  7. Will buy the Crusader banner if not sold, and DD flags if 2s each sounds good?
  8. 2s 50c each for the picnic baskets and lux checker boards? - COD 'em all to crimsonearth if so, thanks.
  9. Hullo! Couple of flaming skulls and explosive joys COD to crimsonearth please (Edit: as items not sent yet, didn't actually need all 5 skulls, it turns out!)
  10. Tristanc - you mean were they lit? Almost certainly because if lit once on deed, fireplaces will continue to light and snuff themselves until manually snuffed (which can only be done at night; there's no way to tell during daylight hours if a fireplace will light itself or not, short of moving it underground). If that is the cause, and that's intended then that seems like a really odd exception to the way other things function on deed (and should definitely be noted on the wiki), because none of my ovens or forges have taken damage from being lit or used, nor my lamps and hanging lanterns which auto-light each evening like the fireplaces, nor wells or fountains from refilling on water tiles etc. The only furnishing I can think of that takes damage with use is beds, which you actually right-click and use to sleep. Given that 'use' of a fireplace provides no gameplay function beyond light, it's weird if they take useage damage when other static deco light sources don't.
  11. Just loaded up (among other things) some fireplaces to remodel a building and found they had all taken damage - checking around my deed, every fireplace bar one had damage everything from 5 to 45 damage accrued. All in buildings, in a deed that hasn't dropped below ten months upkeep in three or more years, several of which were definitely placed in the last couple of years. Most of them were built on deed and have never left it. Went and checked my market deed which hasn't had less than a year's upkeep since it was built two years ago; fireplaces there damaged too. Asked around in CA help - two other players checked theirs on deeds with plenty of upkeep and reported damage too. Assume (and sincerely hope) this is a bug? Can't imagine it's intended that all furniture is safe from decay (on deed, in houses, with 30+ days upkeep) except fireplaces. I've got about a half dozen rare ones all quietly accruing damage and I just wouldn't have known to repair them if I hadn't loaded one and spotted the damage.
  12. Could I have a room for Crimsonearth please? I'm usually on a Wurm break over the summer so this'll be the first time I'm actually around at the right time for a Friendalong. Can help with BS, JS, Carp, FC, Masonry & Pottery Imps; and happy to help chip away at any longer queues of sub-70 skills if needed. Also happy to do things like copy out recipes for sharing, help stock up larders/LMCs with food ahead of the event if not already covered. You seem to be sorted for mats, do you still need more prizes? Not sure how many you get through in an event but I can find some things to contribute if more are needed (just let me know where/whom to send them to). Also, apologies if I missed the info but couldn't see it in the original post - is charming (Fo priest) and/or taming turned on on deed during the impalong for the arena? I try and collect a handful of creatures from every major event where there's an opportunity to, to add to a big community wildlife park of entirely GM-named creatures I manage on Release (we're up to 200+ different named creatures now!), but won't do so without indication that it's okay by you. Also helps me to know in advance if it's okay, so I can get some care-slot alts skilled up in the month before if adoptions/rescues from the arena are permitted
  13. ... refunded the price of the trader now, or the price when we bought it? This snip below is from when traders were last nerfed. For context, I had bought my trader and had it 'active' just three or four months before traders got changed and the price got dropped. I was basically told 'tough luck' on having just invested 50s for a trader that now cost 35s for my 1s deed to which it gave no benefit, and with the change, the only way to make it not just 50s down the hole was to expand my deed - so I did. Now you're telling me the deed that I expanded and filled to make my full-price-fully-nerfed trader at least pay for itself in a few years is going to be taken away, and my choices are to either pay even more per month than I had already committed to so my trader would one day earn his keep, or bulldoze and reduce my deed by 20% or more? Yowch. There's some super cool stuff announced in this post, but I'm with everyone else here: you can't just slip in a bit about traders getting taken out right at the end and not address the main reason anyone still has one...
  14. There's about a dozen different GM-named bison and sheep in the free-to-a-good-home pens at Little Venice around J23 on Release (island market deed). Off-deed boat parking/loading space is on the north-west corner, lead perms turned on etc if any of those are of interest. Might also have a spare 'Bambi' running around in the pastures at my main deed if helpful.
  15. I can help.you out with some of the rarer creatures - gm named spawns, conditioned or champ creatures, but care slots are likely to be an early and persistant concern, I think. Are you looking for non-agg creatures for the most part (i.e. that can be tamed and bred if needed, but much less likely to accidentally get killed or kill a new toon learning the ropes?) Are you planning to have creatures cared for so they live indefinitely or is the idea that they'll be bred to maintain populations and live and die in their normal lifecycles?
  16. Bah. Zarame beat me to it by a hair's breadth! Please keep me in mind for future sacrifices vein-pops though. I've managed to now accidentally pop three in a row on my priest alt by grasshoppering between active windows and I'm never gonna get that journal goal at this rate.
  17. I've just bred my first 4s champ horse. Getting consistent 4 speeds in desirable colours is gonna take a little more work, but I got off to a lucky start!
  18. Hullohullo, I am usually inactive this time of year, so I've not been to one of your impalongs before. I love the website! ❤️ Had a couple of Qs that I don't think were answered on the website or in thread, but sorry if they were and I missed it. 1) How are you doing for impers? Any particular areas you need more help or lack impers for? I'm useless with weapons and armour, toymaking, ship-building and stone-cutting but I can imp up to or pretty darn close to 70 in most other things and up to 90 if needed in a few. My tailoring ones are a little lower but I'm happy to help out where most needed, or just help keep the blacksmithing queues down. 2) Also, is/will leading, taming and charming be turned on for GM spawns in the arena, and unbranded mounts from off-server etc? I look after a huge wildlife park on Release exclusively filled with different GM-named spawns (200 different names/spawns and counting!) so if there's likely to be an opportunity to bring a few more named creatures back to the park, I'll get grinding for a few more care slots.
  19. I'm interested in WU stuff, DD and Ebonaura. Let me know what sort of prices you're looking to sell them at?
  20. May be because deer had conditions previously in the game's history but afaik seals, sheep etc never did? So there are still a number of conditioned holdover deer from old times kicking about with their colours and the conditioned deer for the holy sites were a reintroduction of an existing model rather than a first introduction of a model. Dunno - but that seems to make sense.
  21. Yesyesyesplease! (And also yes that if unicorns are one of the things spawning, pretty please can we have something else instead). I have also been hankering after conditioned cows and I'd go nuts for conditioned chickens too >.> - I'm excited by the seals we've had the Vyn shrines but sad they're not showing their colours (yet?). Tbh, I thought (and from talking to some other folks investigating the sites I've been haunting, at least some folks other than me also thought) that the unusual spawns special to the holy sites that were being hinted at would be mostly the passive ones anyway - since we already have conditioned versions of almost all agg mobs (plus conditioned unicorns which are less rare than bison and wild horses). Go to any impalong and it's clear that even slightly special versions of domestic creatures are crowd-pleasers - loads of people enjoy taking them home and keeping them as pets - so I'm really hoping there are/will be more domestic specials from the holy sites than we've seen so far. Honestly, the possibility of conditioned creatures is entirely what had me premming up a second priest and dropping my three premium toons at holy sites to pray round the clock for days at a time when I am otherwise usually Wurm-dormant, so I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for more holy creatures. ❤️
  22. Yeah, I was so excited for rainbow seals, but none of the holy seals seem to be tinted either . Please give us consistent condition colours, devs - it makes no sense to have them for some creatures and not others! (Also please give us cows. We don't need more unicorns, we're already overrun with them. Plz and thank you.)
  23. Yes please! Could use your village stamp on an arch token and then on a map to copy across the info in the token. Would be a massively helpful and cool integration of the two skills - if I wasn't already interested in doing it just for it's own sake for wall maps and war tables, I'd learn cartography just to augment archaeology given a good option for doing that.
  24. Yesssss - I also came here to ask for it to be a ledger. Or perhaps a portfolio? Adjacent QoL tweak I wildly desire is not to have 30+ 'your x contract will not leave the server' warnings in orange flooding my feed every five seconds as I approach a border, swallowing up any other event info or warnings I might actually need to see. Perhaps a collective ledger/portfolio/whatever could help address that by just give you one line of warning for anything contained within it, e.g. 'some of the contracts in your possession will not leave the server'? My border hops got so much nicer when I handed all of my merchant contracts off to a dedicated market-manager alt who doesn't have to travel.
