  1. I'm with Calvert on this one. As skins are part of the gameplan whether we like 'em or not, make them for big-impact aesthetic variations that folks won't mind throwing silver down for - ship sails, LMC skins, wagon covers, maybe variations/flourishes on things like barding, large carts, guard towers. Not... y'know... on dining table chairs and lamps where most people have them in quantity if they have them at all, or on tools which aren't wielded as weapons and so basically never get seen. Sure, mostly people only have one or two of each of the items above, but I reckon people would feel a lot less sore about being asked to pay coin for aesthetic skins which they really got to express themselves with and show off a bit. There's a reason the weapon and armour skins are the most sought after. Or, cut the cost of those smaller skins deco right back at least, but give us one or two new craftable variations for every skin released.

  2. The wildlife park at Brambleheim has about 350 GM named spawns so I've just scarpered back to deed to do a check round. All seems to be okay there, for now, but not gonna lie, bugs like this give me a lot of anxiety! I did find, yesterday or the day before, a chook that had somehow gotten from the main chicken pen into one of the isolation pens and wondered how it had gotten there; perhaps this explains it. 😕

And three hours later, I swing by again to find a cow out of its field and wandering the paths...

YAAAAAY SEEEEEEEE MONSTERS!  They should drop ship parts and armor and stuff from eating people.

Nirav's our resident #1 Nessie fan; he's got the right idea.

Also, if they could increase the spawning of flotsam in their path, like bunnies dropping easter eggs, we could attempt some maritime tracking by following the trail of splintered wreckage. >.>

  4. I also noticed this problem today, and looks like it has applied to all the friends I made in the past few months. Did some testing for more data and here's what I have:

Friends past a certain (undetermined) point only appear on my friendslist when I'm on the same server we became friends on. On any other server, they don't show and I can resend them a friend request which they can receive, but not accept (because as long as they're on the same server we became friends on, they still have me on their list). I knocked a few old alts off my friends list and border hopped a few times again in case the friends-list was struggling past a particular number; made no difference. Also checked and it didn't make a difference whether we were both on different servers or the same server at the point we became friends - the bug persists and the friend is locked to the server you're on when you accept the friend request, it also doesn't matter who sent the initial invite request to whom. So I currently have friends that I can only see when I'm on the server we met on - the only thing I didn't get a chance to test was whether, if we're both on not-our-first-meeting-server, we can both send and accept new friend requests from one another even though we're friends on different servers.

In any case, frustrating, and more than a little nerve-wracking for folks with social anxiety. Hope a fix will be forthcoming soon! (Pretty please <3)

  5. Outrageous accusations in that stream JC! (Twas Cov that farted in your direction, I just gave you a wave. ;) )

That was a really nice tour of the deed and the event though - I do love me some winding back-alleys and attention to detail in deco. ❤️ Always great to see you out and about streaming in Wurm. I wish I was better able to watch/listen whilst playing but alas, my brain doesn't brain well trying to split my attention too many ways. :D

  6. Thanks again for a super relaxed event, folks. Gorgeous deed, exceedingly generous and gracious hosts, and we all had a lot of fun visiting. Hope you'll run another sometime ❤️

  7. @Goldfinch- did you get the elf images you needed? I collected all barring seryll and glimmer (which makes me v sad because the seryll one was really the only one I wanted :D) - but I can take pics of the ada and empy ones (or all of 'em) of you didn't get them.

(Or, if someone has seryll and glimmer and wants to run them over to Brambleheim for a photoshoot, we could get them all in one shot.)

  8. These for 40s? Can arrange collection with you tomorrow if you're about as it's approaching midnight here now.

Grats on the find Crimsonearth. Us alumni of Poolsclosed are turning up all the uniques lately ;)

Thanks, but very little skill involved in this one. Was just looking for Christmas GM spawns on Christmas Day and then there he was, just basking on the edge of the desert.

I like to think of Poolsclosed like the Wurm equivalent of the Cambridge Footlights. "Oh yes, half the Brits on Release started their journeys there. No wonder they've all got that peculiar sense of humour..." :D

I hear you're on Release rather a lot these days Berris. Perhaps you should consider relocating. >.>

  10. Two new Xanadu markets added which I'll try and pay a visit to soon - Hunters Moon market and Forest Market. Tapdance Market has disbanded so I've shuffled that down with a note, and I've added a couple of market URLs where I happened to run across them. I know of at least three more markets currently under development, so keep the information coming folks! Will endeavour to head out an another epic all-the-markets trawl in the next month and come back with any more updates to this list from my travels. ❤️

All three of them are made from unspecified metal and can be used for decoration afterwards.

Meaning they count as deco items and don't take decay on deed, or just meaning that they won't vanish at the close of the event?

  12. Thanks again for a wonderful event to everyone who put their time, work and resources into this event, but especially to Dracaa and Seriphina.

As the event dates shifted, I was only able to be there imping on the weekends, but I still got a solid 20+ imping hours in, got to hang around semi-afk on my priest for most of the week and join in the fun and games, and got to scurry away with mobs from the arena on a regular basis. :) The whole event had a lovely atmosphere and the impers, casters and event runners were, as always, exceedingly kind and generous with their time, skills and expertise. Sorry I couldn't be there for the fireworks, but I'm sure you all went out with bang. ❤️
