No. Wurm has lost too much history as it is. The wipe of '07, the forum wipe of '08, the forum rebuild that happened a couple years later, the revamp of the wiki (removing all player/village lore)... You would be removing the last "proof" of some amazing people that used to play this game. Some of those people aren't even alive to play anymore.

Transferring my skills from the Freedom cluster to the Reality cluster was a solid move. There's far more land to explore, the textures are vastly improved... and it's waaay more populated (if that's your thing). My strength stats and climbing skill have been put to good use over here. Just two weeks ago, I went scaling the mountains in search of uniques (to pen), Here are a few in-game screenshots: The search for uniques was unsuccessful that day, but more climbing skill was gained. I have another expedition in a set of taller mountains next week. Wish me luck!

Personally, I would prefer if the roof + wall mechanics and models were overhauled and expanded, so that we had something akin to the modular pieces that newer survival/base building games have. It's completely unrealistic (and silly looking) that all roofs are hip style. This creates valleys in places they never should be. There's no gable option... no proper dormers or awnings.

The drama will follow over to frontier too. It won't ever stop. With that said, suggestion 1 from OP guarantees more private parties. If the team really wants to combat the private party issue, the first thing they need to do is make all drake/scale drops a standard weight (say 0.03kg).. no matter how many people are in local. Because, as it stands now, there's theoretically no incentive for anyone to host a public slaying if they get way more leather with just a few of their buddies.
