So i've had this idea going trough my head for some time and i'll throw it up here to see what you guys think about it and positive/negative sides of it.
The idea is based of Guild Wars event "The Underworld". I've played that game for a long time and i really enjoyed that part of the game, as it requied alot of team work and tactics... So i tought something similar could work really nice in Wurm, adding to social aspect, teamwork, and some tactical play..
Anyway, lets say everyone would be allowed to attend this event only once in a week, and we would need to form a team of 8 players, go to a portal or a sign at starter town, and get teleported into new map the size of about Newspring isle.
Now once there you'd need to go trough different riddles and sorts of quests like get a key from that creature, slay 50 of those creatures,sacrifice hearts and so on and on. The end quest could be something like slay Rift Overlord type of creature where a chest would spawn and everyone can open it once and get reward in their inventory. This type of event would requie of team to have atleast 1 healer priest, a combat priest, an archer... The event should last approx hour to two and you would be able to leave it at any time, which would also make you unavailible to do next one for abouts a week.
I'd like to hear what you guys think about it, also the negative and positive sides of it. My toughts on this one is it would add alot to social aspect of the game, teamplay, instead of rifts which is more of zerg type of event. Thanks for reading and i appologise for grammar :3
