I came back to chaos in a leather set and grabbed a horse i found at a downed deed to ride around and see what has happened since Tc left. I saw a few alts run by a few times <must have been you too>. I stayed for a few hours riding around and checking things out. I found a battle camp at the old HOM desert and capped it, was in the process of looting it when you showed up and killed me, Fair play I am not SOTG anymore I am path of knowledge and I am not a priest. Mad? not at all, Out played me? Serously I could care less about you or chaos, thats why I did not bring good gear or any friends. Subie and whomever might have been with me? She was on Deli. It was just me, only me which you knew because of your alts running around and the population being me and you lol. Logging off alts at battlecamps so they can log on one at a time to cap or recap them with no worry about loss is what people started this thread about. A very sad life you live. We could do the archery contest after the Storage thingy? I am not sure how complicated the archery contest would be or how long it would take. Seems like a great turnout for the Storage Wurm would have people there for the Archery contest also? If it is too much I understand, not sure how many folks are willing to help out or how many signed up to compete.

Thx for the update on the Storage Wurms event, any idea if it will be today or much later? I did not want to miss it.

Unfortunatly this Bozo character and all of his alts think it is fun to steal from players right in front of them no matter the situation. I always wondered why he has so many alts, it is because he can be semi anon while he ganks peoples stuff. No it is not against the rules, but it is not something I condone. Glad I put him on ignore and will never talk to him again after the hota statue thefts. We would be much better off with out people like him in Wurm, ruins it for everyone.

Try waiting for PvP changes that are promised, half baked and some not wanted at all but pushed thru anyways for years. People only wait so long then they move on and never return. Excited to start grinding for years again for what? I understand the Steam release option is cheaper and may draw some attention to Wurm in general but not fixing PvP you have and releasing new servers with the same PvP sure will not get better results.

I remember when Ladykare and Kightmares had deeds going down we pooled our neighbors money to put upkeep on them for them until they returned. I will stay on Choas at least there we have pvp to settle disputes.

That did not take long, our deed dropped at 2am , at 9 am you loaded them up and 2 hrs later selling them on the forums. Thanks neighbor for the help.

I appreciate the response if totally misguided. You obviously do not live on a pvp server so referring to thievery skill , lock picking skill , 8 catapult skill? The revamp missed a few things in the way Ballistae should work if you are referring to how the trajectory should work and how it is coded in Wurm. The thing i was missing was the 1 crank=1 tile formula instead of what the game reports as firing distance. Broken and confusing but workable like most things in Wurm. Thank you Shydow for that info i will try it again and see what i can make use of. No need to move this to a suggestion thread since it need a bit of attention, like proper distance reporting. Also 70 damage per shot is a bit much since all other ammo shot from a war machine takes 20ish.

Any chance the Ballistae can be fixed? It says fires like a catapult, lowering the angle shots farther, the darts take 50-75 damage fired once, the messages you get befor firing - say will fire 2 tiles at this angle and they shoot over 20. No skill for firing the machine and good luck hitting anything with it. Totally useless machine, but a good concept. It needs fixed - revamped.

Not a location specific issue, Crashed on deed, off deed, 10 locals from deed, was online for an hour or more then suddenly crashed multiple times in a row. I returned to Legacy setting and i was able to ride home and log off. Wife has same problems.
