So from this thread, unless it's epic specific only one kingdom can comment on actual functionality of the artifacts, which are not in frequent use anymore in pvp and makes the arguement one sided and essentially biased. So the only way to get better information is to allow players to test them on the test server? Sure some people won't test things fully, but equally some people will. If anything the artifacts problem stems from the developers stance on making it impossible to test these items outside of the live servers. If the changes were documented properly, what is the concern for being able to spawn and test them for bugs/imbalances? I propose a test server with the chaos coding and the epic coding to be created, with the ability for players to either spawn with or be able to set skill levels themselves without a GMs assistance (including meditation), and to be able to spawn any object with the ability to set power/enchant levels easily. Once this has been completed, have time period on a monthly rotation where a GM member is available for more specific testing of effects such as uniques etc. Do that, then ask for player feedback, anything before that will be misinformed and wrong and not beneficial to the game in suggesting a complete rework of a "broken" feature or balancing of one.   2. My question for the dev team/Rolf, What is the tally for PVP kills on Chaos/Epic before and after these changes? Did the amount of PVP increase significantly after the changes were implemented in comparison to the last 3 months and the same 3 months last year/before the changes?
  3. Player positioning de-sync, high memory usage/leak in large scale PVP. Basically make the game more playable in PVP.
  4. I'd agree with the suspension of PVP, its equivalent to doors never locking properly on-deed, mine doors are vital for deeds since their implementation, having the GM team stand by and watch is very unprofessional.
  5. The patch works fine, You get the option of spawning at "start" I believe which is in the most north Western tile of chaos but you can now respawn at capitals so the bug has been fixed. Including at the token or off-deed sites. I dislike seeing a staff member potentially trolling this thread. It's about fixing a bug not about free to play mechanics on chaos, move the discussion to suggestions.
  6. All I want is a fixed spawn in FRIENDLY lands for free to play accounts... Spawning 3 locals away from an enemy capital deed is not my idea of a good mechanic
  7. OR, make the update work as written and you can only respawn at a capital deed or starter deed? (kingdom dependent) rather tahn keeping the broken mechanic atm...
  8. Bump, I don't want to have to test if this is fixed, losing more skills and ending up in the middle of nowhere...
  9. Increase the cooldown to 14 days (saves 10 on higher levels) and you must have 90% or 100% of the skill requirement to be enlightened then reduce the difficulty
  10. -1 A lot worse things that need to be fixed in game. At no point was the "offending" staff member in this case asked to stop contact in personal messages, but merely to not use local chat.. If they had been asked to stop then kept going you would have something to simply complain to their superior about. This has wasted more time than it's worth.

If a non-premium account is killed on Chaos, they cannot spawn ANYWHERE, you only get the option of "somewhere" #1 Kill an free to play account, you end up essentially insanity teleport spawning around the map. #2 I expected to be able to respawn at the PMK capital #3 Kill a free to play account and watch.
  12. Unless it's been recently fixed, non-prem alts, at least for pmks cannot respawn at the capital and instead have to pick "somewhere" much like the insanity teleporting :/

  17. I must be very lucky then. I want to thank the players who voted for this revert and the developer feedback in removing this change. I appreciate no one likes trying to take one step forward and then one step back but thank you for listening! To those who did not want this reverted, I hope the game is still enjoyable for you all, and look forward to seeing you in game! This thread can be locked I guess now.

  19. Recently, the developers changed the current game mechanic where weapon enchants never decayed with use to include the decay typical of tools and other enchants. Public news of this was recently broken by Jberg in the thread HERE. Apparently the change has been live for some time but never mentioned. My opinion of this is to revert this change ASAP, weapons are a necessity in survival of Wurm Online, allowing you to gather food and protect yourself. With the option of obtaining multiple casts on weapons, it will become increasingly difficult to maintain these enchants, as most weapons are recasted in a lengthy process with current casting being almost completely random this change will severely hurt the player base, and so I am suggesting this changed be removed ASAP.     Priests have never been very well balanced, with some situational dominance being obvious. With these new priests the game has become even more unbalanced as the previously "balanced" spells can make these new priests superior to every single priest due to the RNG of wurm and spell assignments. I would rather see time invested in balancing and fixing other hand aspects over having to try and balance even more priests...
  22. Unless I'm mistaken you need 20+ body strength to drag catapults. HOWEVER, it should include being unable to turn the catapult
  23. Dude, read the patch notes, unless I'm mistaken ebonaura can have 3 champions now? Go test it and find out!
  24. A timer that rotated every 30 hours rather than 36 would mean it's never at an "extreme" like morning or evening all the time and would shift 6 hours allowing better opportunities for everyone correct?
