  1. Want to know what drives people from a game? leaving players in the dark for a year on what will happen to their valuable possessions with no updates on what will happen.

  4. We should bring back skill decay then, if you don't use a skill for 14 days, it decays. Would you agree with this? People are only saying if the deep has upkeep (that the player has paid for) that the items on-deed don't decay much like the structures. This means people who have limited play time don't have to spend all their time maintaining what they have and can instead enjoy the game experience by spending a little extra on a deed. If the deed disbands the decay will affect the items + mean some lucky people might stumble across a hoard of items.

    Now that I can play, it's even more fun than I expected considering how far you have to travel for eggs to hatch. My only problem is the connectivity issues and everything says its 3 steps away and is bugged :'( fortunately I'm use to bugs from somewhere

    WHY ARE YOU NOT IN THE UK YET?! :'( This game looks great, and worse yet, its a game that will get people going for exercise to level up!

To be honest, this might be something that the dev's haven't anticipated, but with PVE stat restrictions being removed on F2P accounts. it would be possible to make 20-30 body strength accounts (sucks but it'll never decay or buy cheap accounts?) and use these as storage alts. And rather than being limited to the base F2P model, keeping stats would increase the available storage of each account. But as many have said, this is just pointing out an issue with the game which is when you have an active deed with plenty of upkeep, maintaining such is a chore even if you spend money to play the game. And no, buying multiple LMC's is not a strategy that should ever be necessary in this game.
  8. Metal and wood altars may now be pushed/pulled. Wewt! Path of Insanity followers can change path one time with no penalty via an option on the meditation rug. Reduced the amount of terrain variation caused by rifts, should now not occur on corners with fences, walls, etc. Tile borders will now show slope information again when examined. Good stuff (and help for those poor freedom houses being borked!) Non-premium characters that have previously been premium will now keep their characteristic stats up to 30 on PvE servers. Only PVE, thank goodness! Bugfix: Corrected the fix for source crystals being removed from veins. Will have to test this on my source vein :'(

  11. Source crystals can no longer be mined from veins. This is to prevent excess crystals being mined in a short timeframe. Not sure if this was actually fixed/implemented, mining an iron vein and already recieved 5 source salt. [14:47:19] You start to mine. [14:47:22] You mine some ore.   12. To add my two cents, I got a 93.68ql Glimmer Steel lump, 0.40kg. I don't understand the idea of giving out these gifts on Wurm's birthday having listed items like supreme bones or cool masks which none/very few people received then do a delayed reveal of other things having annoyed every single player even if just slightly.     I find it more funny, players who were previously premium but not before the 24th will get more for coming back than those who stayed, honestly though its tempting to prem alts just for more gear!

  15. Can we have these combat effects removed for PVP servers? All I see are further additions that will increase the gap between new players and older players, and when we are meant to be in a period of fixing PVP and balancing the system, this seems to make it worse. New gear is cool and advances the game, but when nothing is very well balanced already, it is not the time you add more.
  16. @Retrograde<-- You now have an added challenge of balancing another priest in the future PVP tweaks! Yes @MrGARY! Why can't the socketed items help with crafting/casting? and NOT influence direct combat spells.

  18. Rifts are events that occur in the current servers as a local system or will they be off-server? I'm excited to see what it will be like, though I am more a fan of being able to teleport to a destination and have some fun combat with friends before returning to the main servers. And as MD said, please don't make this change combat, if anything have it affect something unrelated to PVP!
  19. Also if an item is bugged, don't expect it to remain, that much was clear from fountain packs. i don't mind how long it takes, heck I've played wurm long enough to not care, a time scale would be nice but not necessary

  21. Erinyesthegreat, dude, calm down. glad to see things are changing, regardless of how slow it appears to be (Though I am curious if people on WU can make all the changes faster than the dev's at this point lol)

I would only go so far as to make it impossible for F2P accounts to drain, however perhaps this draws the issue of the alt killing preventions (such as needing 20fs etc) raises a bigger problem that should be addressed with the future PVP changes? E.g. change the game to limit repeated killing but not set this mandatory 20fs for anything on Chaos?
  23. Do you have any updates on if SotG is reduced/Archery penalties removed, if changes such as changing players base HP/True Strike will be changed at the same time? Because while players would not have a shield/high defence while using a huge axe, killing an armored player still takes alot of hits, SotG or not without a huge axe, in which time they can easily equip a shield.
  24. You are comparing a level 11 with level 9 ability, they shouldn't necessarily be equal. Else what's the point of higher levels/skills? You unlock better things as time progresses, 30/35% would be nicer IMO
