  8. Did we read the same post? Again it is your own interpretation. Additionally you mix up things here for finding confirmation for your narration. Wurm Online is commercial product and main mission of GCC is to generate profit. You can like it or not, but this is how this world works. Using same retorics someone could tell you that you should be quite and don't take your voice in discussion because your interlocutor play this game longer than you. Do you really want to go by this silly way? If you want to exclude differently thinkng people in such rude way from discussion I am not gonna stop you as long as you will do it with your friends on you own playground. Here we are on public forum where everyone can share his opinion as long as it doesn't violate forum rules so next time please keep these silly words for yourself as they don't make impress on anybody here.
  9. I agree with most of this. Additionally few coins about my observations - The truth is that most of the players need challenges. After few weeks/months of playing, this game starting to be terribly boring as not everyone want's to grind skills forever and everytime they login. People also need some action and entertainment. So game should provide some mechanics allowing players to engage into some interesting activities (etc. raids and/or dungeons) just for hour or two in their brake at work. IMHO the keyword for success of any game is "CHALLENGES". In this field Wurm mainly gives us only one - grinding. Don't get me wrong I know what this game is about and I don't want to rotate it 180 degrees, but on other hand it definetely needs to have much more to offer if we want to attract new players. Grinding skills to 100 may be fascinating to some people, but let's look how reality looks like and fact is that for most of ppl, including probably majority of our friends, family members etc. our stories about spending hundred of hours grinding one damn skill to 90 sounds... one-dimensional. And this is definitelly not what they expect from a game. Also to be fully clear here, I am last man who will rise his hand for idea about lowering difficulty of any skill. I am just saying that we need something else. And last thing I want to add - this game doesn't neeed additional promotion in social media, tv shows, cornflakes whatever. Most of people heard about Wurm, but current game mechanics simple disitract them from even trying to give it a chance.
